Teething question...

All four of LOs top teeth are coming in at the same time (poor baby!) Three have broken through but the fourth is really irritating his gums. The gums look bluish and bled a little yesterday. I'm used to the red, swollen gums. I'm racking my brain to think if maybe he fell or if it is really irritated since the tooth will break through any minute. How are your LOs gums looking? I know I may be just over thinking but didn't know if I should call the doctor.

    Connor fell and slammed his face into the activity table and has had a bruise on his cheek for about 3 days now, I didn't call the doctor or anything, but if you're worried you should.

    Inside of his mouth seemed fine, he also was getting four teeth at once the last two months now.. the fourth one popped through yesterday. They've bleed before, but only after he hit something.

    This makes me feel better. I don't remember DDs gums doing this so I didn't know if I should be worried.

    It is not abnormal for gums to be blue it's just blood under gums sometimes it happens most of the time not

    A friends baby had hematomas for every tooth, poor thing. Probably normal but give the ped a buzz if you're concerned. Good luck - 4 teeth at a time is tough!

    This is my LO exactly he is getting 4 at the bottom and 2 on top like WTF.

    Us too...four on top all at once...I knew they had to come sometime as she only has two so far.

    My son went from having three bottom teeth to suddenly having 7 teeth. He cut the 4th bottom tooth, and three top teeth all within a week or two.  Now, just one week later, he's cutting molars!!! OMG we can't get a break!
