Baby sleeping A LOT

I know babies around my daughters age sleep about 15 hours a day, but it just seems like she's sleeping way more than that. Anyone else having the same issue? She'll be 4 months on April 6th. Another growth spurt maybe?

  • LO sleeps a lot. Yesterday she took a 50 min morning nap, then the next nap was 1.5 hours, then the next 2.5 hours. Last night she slept 11 hours straight, 7:45pm-6:45am. She took a 25 minute nap this morning before I had to wake her to take my older kids to preschool, then I woke her up after a 2 hr 45 min nap, and she's currently been sleeping an hour. She has always been a good sleeper. My other kids never did anything like this.

  • Can I just say in jealous?? My LO is teething and transitioning in to her crib and I'm dying of sleep deprivation.
  • Mine went down at 6:30 tonight but he is teething and I had to break out the tylenol cause the poor little man kept crying. I was going to start the transition into the crib but I may now wait for a little bit cause of this teething thing.

@prettykitty2012‌ There's nothing wrong with noticing. You're being an attentive mom. I'd say if it continues for longer than a week or gets worse, ask your pedi just to ease your mind. For me, as long as he is eating, gaining weight, had no temp and making diapers, I assume things are okay.
