Amazing disappearing RLP (and DH's reasoning)

This pregnancy has been so incredibly uncomfortable. For the past few weeks I've had almost crippling RLP that's made it impossible to bend over, exercise, sleep, or do pretty much anything else without intense pain. Needless to say, it's been a long, exhausting few weeks. This past Sunday was probably the worst of it. I was in pain all day and went to bed in tears because I couldn't get comfortable and every movement hurt. Somehow DH still talked me into sex. I'm still not quite sure what made me agree to it, other than guilt for being such a slacker in that department the past several months.

Then Monday morning, I woke up completely pain free. Not just less sore, but Sunday school Bible parable "Get up and walk" kind of pain free. I haven't felt this good in at least a month. I've even been able to resume my workouts and catch up on some of my housework.

I know it's because the baby changed position sometime that night (I can feel her in a different place), but DH is having none of that explanation. Nope. He's convinced it's because of our sex and his magical penis. There's no talking him out of it either. 8-|

Re: Amazing disappearing RLP (and DH's reasoning)

  • Lol! That sounds like something my DH would do/think too. Hey, at least you both feel better! Hopefully baby doesn't go back into that position, that sounds miserable!
