As for myself, I am currently in my TWW and doing my best at containing my crazy.

I also applied for a job today and am really hoping I get it, it would be a pay raise plus an opportunity to try something new.

Thanks for the check-in, @kalynn12. I had a nice looking chart last cycle, so CD 1 definitely sucked, but now I'm trying to psych myself up for this cycle, and it's not really working.

We have our financing secured for DE IVF and meet with the RE on the 31st to get things going. Tomorrow I'm calling the agency and officially putting our donor on the five day hold. We'll pay the agency fee right after our doctor''s appointment. We need to go for our psych eval first and, once cleared, my next step is to start a trial cycle next time AF shows up. We're hoping for an August transfer. I can't believe we're doing this. It feels surreal.

@jimbobcooter Wow it sounds like you are going to have a busy next couple of weeks. I am sure August will be here before you know it! Good luck with the first couple of steps.

Sometimes I feel like I am more crazy now then when I wasn't temping. I know it's a necessary evil but can be a total MF. Is there anything special you and your hubby can do to get psyched up? Special dinner , new lingerie?

No, not really. I've tried new lingerie before, but it backfired when my H just felt like I was doing it to pressure him. We tend to have sex more often on the weekends, so hopefully I'll O on Monday or Tuesday. Otherwise I have to work a little harder at having good timing, and that just sucks.

@kalynn 12 - thank you for taking over! Good luck with the new job - I hope you get it. Try to take it easy during this 2WW (easier said than done, I know).

@jimbobcooter - I am so excited that you are getting everything ready for August. Best wishes to you!

@bethkate2 - No advice here (My husband and I are infamous for really forcing the sex when I thought I ovulated), but just wanted to give you (((hugs))).

As for me - thank you to everyone who supported me in canceling the FET. It means so much to me. I'm still so upset about it, but I do think this is the best thing to do for me, especially physically right now. I got my meds in the mail for the May cycle yesterday and almost started crying at all the needles in there. Not again. I just can't believe this.

But we did book a trip to Bermuda! We leave the day after baseline for the May cycle and will be home way before lining check, so I got the all clear from my IVF nurse to go. I just have to hope I don't get a ton of crap for flying with needles. Should be fine as long as I fly with my prescriptions with me and a note from my RE. I am excited to go, but sad since we're really supposed to be bringing Conner and Ben home in May instead of going on a trip and doing an FET. Transfer is May 20th or 21st and I am hopeful but not really optimistic.

@ikrystal - I'm sorry that you're upset about cancelling your FET, but you need to do what's right for you and it sounds like you did the right thing. I hope that your vacation will be a nice break for you!

My consult is tomorrow. My first post-EP AF showed up yesterday. As bittersweet as it is, I'm glad that my body is at least somewhat back to normal now. And it will be perfect timing if he wants to do anymore CD3 bloodwork.

I am dying to have our kitchen done! The cabinets are in, so now we are just waiting on the countertop to be delivered so we can finish with the sink, cooktop, etc. I will post pics as soon everything is in! We will probably do a nice roast beef dinner or something as our first meal. I want something special and since our ovens can be controlled from my iPhone I can start dinner even if I am not home!

I am also in my 2ww with some good timing. I'm also starting it out with a lousy head cold and major tinnitus going on, so that is creating more of my crazy right now.

@JimBobCooter I know, there have been quite a few graduates, always seems to happen that way. Good luck with the DE!!! Very exciting!

@BethKate2 ((HUGS)) When I try to spice/change things up, my H gets very suspicious as well and it always backfires. We tend to have sex 2-3 times a week anyway, so for a while I just crossed my fingers things worked. This cycle, RE told us the 3 days to do it, and miraculously, H came through although two of those days felt more business transaction like than anything special....

@ikrystal ((HUGS)) So jealous about Bermuda! Sounds like you really need this vacation.

@sunnydaysarehere Good luck tomorrow!!

@taberbtb Hmmm...roast beef and a nice, finished kitchen! Sounds perfect!

Sorry the one thing I took from update is a oven that you can control with an iPhone! That is sooo cool! I might be beginning my hubby for a new kitchen now

We are totally guilty of the same things, hubby always say just tell me when we have to do it. I should probably take my own advice as well as take suggestions from everyone. Good luck

BethKate2 I always tell Dh before hand which week I am ovulating and then I always try to be extra sweet and extra special to him. He obliviously knows why, but at least he is aware of why I am putting extra pressure on it.

kalynn12! Good luck with the job!! I know the feeling! I have been applying for tons of jobs. Good luck!

Update from me:

I am doing great on the Whole30. I am done 10lbs and DH is down 15lbs. We do our measuring at the end of this week, so hopefully there will be some big numbers.

I have also decided to take a break from the promethium this month. It has been really making me crazy at the end of my cycle. I also think it makes me feel very emotional and then crazy depressed. So yeah, it was a rough week before the end of this cycle.
