Diaper pail stink - Yes, PR question, sorry.

We have a safety first diaper pail that has worked well for a year. But now -even with regular bleach cleaning - it stinks. We also use baking soda in the bags and use odor shield bags. Still stinky.

So we're getting a new pail. Does anyone have a pail that is good at odor blocking? Thanks for the help in advance.

  • Yeah I've always bagged up the poopy diapers separately and taken them outside.
  • They all stink eventually.  We went through a few diaper champs over the diapering years.  Since they were relatively cheap, I was ok with replacing them.

  • We had good luck with our diaper genie with DS1. I usually kept an air freshener taped to the inside lid and a box of baking soda at the bottom of the genie.
