Specialty baby shops

Has anyone explored any of the following specialty shops for purchases / registry and if so what did you think? Compared to a bigger retailer such as Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby? - Right Start - Juvenile Shop - Pump Station

    We just went to Juvenile shop last weekend and purchased our stroller/carseat and glider.  We loved the selection- they had a small assortment but it was great quality.  Service was "eh" but we preferred to explore on our own with our copy of Baby Bargains in tow :)

    As far as cribs go, we found a nice store in Eagle Rock called the Kids Superstore.  More selection than Juvenile shop.

    That said, we plan to register at Buy Buy Baby because it's easier for family/friends to access if they live out of town.  We'll probably just go to the specialty store to make our own purchases if necessary.
