I voted SS. There is this place called burgerfi (mostly in FL I think) and they use organic beef and it just doesn't compare to the others IMO.

Btw, didn't we have a similar pole last week or was that in a bump-dream?

I think that was just best fast food. Not burger. 5 guys for national, although I like red robin more, but that isn't fast food.

I'm abstaining from voting since we don't have many of these around here and I don't want to mess with the results.

Mr. Vals makes an awesome burger. He uses grass-fed ground beef and puts it on a kaiser roll. He tops it with 2 slices of sharp cheddar, bacon, caramelized red onion, pulled pork, coleslaw, ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and potato chips. =P~

I'm vegetarian so I offered the choice to DH. He said he'd a burger from anywhere really but he wouldn't say any of them are really good. lol I would agree with pp. Red Robin is awesome and they have a veggie burger to substitue

Of all the fast food joints, A&W has, by far, THE best burger. Seasoned just perfectly, good buns, great condiments and additions.

(And their onion rings and root beer are divine, also!)

Yeah, we are a Five Guys family all the way. DH grew up just down the road from the very first one in NOVA (which recently closed) and when I moved to that area he got me hooked on them. Fast forward to us being married and moving to Texas... when they got Five Guys down here there was never a bigger cause for celebration. We have one five minutes from us now. DH's cousin also works for their corporate, so Five Guys is a family affair.

I don't like any of the national chains. All the places I like are Texas chains. Braum, whataburger, but a local place called kincaids has my favorite burger. Mmmm and in and out is gross. I don't get the hubbub. Sorry.

@arlingirl I thought about putting Whataburger on here but didn't think they'd be a contender. They have them all over the south, not just in Texas. I like Whataburger but it's not my favorite. It's funny you mention Kincaid's because- I'm going to out myself a little bit- but my last name is Kincaid. People always reference that burger place in Fort Worth when asking about our name. There are a lot of different ways people spell the name but ours is just like the restaurant.

FIVE GUYS! I almost went for dinner last week when this came up but I didn't feel like driving 15 minutes. But you guys might be forcing my hand.

@valstulas‌ I'm thinking MrJ13s burger cook off? The MrMimi burger: two patties each topped with cheese, then applewood bacon, smashed avocado, mayo, and sweet baby ray's honey brown sugar BBQ sauce on a pretzel bun. Add some caramelized onion when we're feeling fancy

I guess I should go to five guys. @kkinatx I also didn't know whataburger was outside of Texas. I just assumed it was here because it was started here (I thought?). And if you're in Fort Worth def go to kincaids. The original though on camp Bowie. So good.

Fuddruckers? Anyone? I cant be alone on this! The one by us went out of business a year ago, but we find them when we travel... There is one in the Harrahs in New Orleans, so they arent completely gone.

Five Guys!!!

Funny Five Guys story:

Most of their stores have a bulletin board to post index cards that kids draw on while they are there. At our shop, one of the employees told us that they have to check over the cards to make sure that nothing inappropriate is hanging up. He said the worst card he had to take down said:

"I love Five Guys in my mouth"

It makes me giggle everytime.

The smell of 5 guys made me wanna puke and I did once during pregnancy. I have only eaten there once and probably won't again because the smell...
I won't eat FF burgers.
Husband makes a nice burger. Like @valastulas we use grass fed beef. But do a 93/7 blend which many people don't love...but oh well.
