How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Physically - it is getting more difficult to be comfortable and move around...I am getting shin splints from my walks. Emotionally - I feel good. I am starting to drop a lot of my work stress with a newfound approcah of "it really doesn't matter, in the big scheme of things."
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Next wednesday we have a doc appointment and ultrasound...I am spoiled with twins. I get an ultrasound every month!
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples - I am obsessed with strawberries, which beats being obsessed with strawberry pop tarts (like I was in the second trimester). A good friend just bought us the tree decals I wanted for the nursery. We have another baby shower this saturday - we will be skyping in with hubbies family. I am so excited to see everyone. I feel myself growing daily...and the babies are very active. Onions - None of my clothes fit and I look sort of dumpy, but I have taken to wearing hubbies shirts not only to bed but also out in public. Comfort is key here.
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? My flower beds, maternity leave, babies to snuggle with, our first spring at our new house, planting my native garden in the front flower bed, more sunshine, walks, warmer temperatures, birding from my kitchen window and yard, our birth classes, and our 2nd anniversary.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Good, other than I get out of breath so easily and it drives me crazy.

I had my last appointment with the perinatologist this week. He reviewed the results of the U/S and said "You can't get more perfect than that!". It was so good to hear and I'm finally starting to let go of the nagging thought that something is eventually going to go wrong with this pregnancy.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples - we made a lot of progress on the house & nursery last weekend in advance of out of town visitors. We have our first shower this weekend. I'm hosting book club tonight, and I enjoy preparing snack food & stuff. Although I always stress myself out more than I should when people are coming over. Onions - this is a silly thing, but I just learned that someone I really respect at work is leaving. I thought he wasn't going to retire until next year and it turns out that today is his last day. I don't work with him often, so it won't impact my day to day work, but I'm still really sad that he's leaving. I blame the hormones because I had an ugly cry and ended up with an upset stomach over it.
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? Spring is my favorite. We already have some wildflowers blooming and I'm ready for everything else to green up.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Pretty good on both fronts.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? I have a routine appt on Friday morning. They are going to yell at me about my weight, but oh well.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Work really sucks right now for many reasons and I am feeling entirely too emotional about people/relationships, etc. I'm annoyed with myself for having this pity party about all of it. However, the weekend is getting closer and we are doing our maternity pics on Sunday and I am very excited about that!
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? WARMER WEATHER for one...whenever it decides to show up, that is. My 30th birthday is April 29th and so I am excited to celebrate that. I don't usually do much for my birthday but this year I am having a party - one month before my due date, ha....I don't care, I want to celebrate!

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) I am beginning to nest! This makes me feel nervous and excited at the same time. All week I have been planning and making freezer meals. Its becoming all too real now with several of our ladies are making visits to L&D. Physically, I am doing well this week. I had to use my vacation before the vacation reference year was up (they wouldnt let me combine it at the start of my mat leave
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? I had my BPP u/s on Tuesday. They said that the baby's foot looks good - which means hopefully there is no clubfoot. As for the issues with the heartbeat, I am to continue with NSTs and more BPP to monitor the "premature atrial contractions" until at least week 37. What I wasnt aware of and found out from the doctor overseeing my results, was that this now makes me a potential candidate for a c-section. Not thrilled as I have always pictured a vaginal birth.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions?
Apples: I get to see some of my closest friends this weekend as we celebrate one of their child's 1st birthday. It has been a few months since we were all able to get together
Onions: Its a good week, I cant think of anything that would make my onions list.
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? Being able to sit outside on the deck, enjoying the smells of the BBQ and playing fetch with the dog in yard.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally). Pretty good emotionally, but physically is another matter. My BP is starting to climb up and my MFM says I'll most likely end up with pre-e. I'm super uncomfortable and I can hardly breathe.

Had an ultrasound yesterday to try and get good pics of the babies, but they're too big to really see at this point. Their little faces we're smooshed. NSTs twice a week and saw the MFM on Monday with the exception of my BP everything looks good.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions?
Apples: I've made it to 33w and will most likely at least hit 34w before anything changes. I feel like that's a huge accomplishment. Also, I stopped working as of last Friday so I'm living a life of leisure right now.
Onions: my babies are bad. They're breech and transverse with no indications of moving so I'm almost certainly going to have a csection which I really don't want. On top of that my blood pressure is a real concern and it will probably keep me from a vaginal birth anyway. I'm trying to just come to terms with the fact that I won't get the birth experience I want to.
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? (Other than an outside baby! ) no more snow!!!! I'm sick of the cold. I'm ready for warmer weather even though I own no maternity shorts or capris so I'll be wearing jeans for awhile after it warms up.
How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) I'm just starting to get over a nasty stomach bug. I feel so dehydrated and completely exhausted. Being sick while pregnant is the worst!
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Missed my appointment yesterday due to the stomach bug, so I'll need to reschedule that for next week.

Apple: my baby shower was on Sunday, and it was amazing! Everyone really spoiled this little lady - she is very lucky!
Onion: I'm so hungry but am terrified to eat anything besides Popsicles and saltines.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Pretty good. Had some spotting but it looks like everything is find. Made me nervous though.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Just had an appointment today for the spotting. Nothing exciting, didn't get to see him or anything.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apple, I get to move into my new house in a week and a half. Staying with my parents between houses is really wearing on me.
Onion, I just hate spotting. I haven't had any problems this pregnancy and hope it was a random freak thing and it goes back to normal and boring.

Riding my horse. Of course after baby is born. I don't have an indoor and never get to ride as much or enjoy it as much as in the spring/summer.
How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Physically I feel great - just tired. Emotionally I have been anxious the past few days and hyper focused on making sure baby moves. I also read something weird about hiccups and it possibly meaning something is wrong with the cord - but there's a lot of mixed information out there. Hopefully that's not the case for this baby!

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally). I'm feeling OK physically. Getting more uncomfortable and this cold wasn't helping but it's finally getting better. Emotionally I'm on a roller coaster. I'm excited, anxious, happy, sad.....just all over the place.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Saw my little guy on Tuesday's u/s and he's doing great. Going for my weekly NST Friday.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples: We are having some painting done in the house and I'm on a mission to get a new bedroom set before baby comes. I'm really going crazy with nesting. The baby's room is done and I need more stuff to do! Onions: DH has the same cold as me but is handling it way worse. He's a total cranky pants and I am eye rolling his complaints big time.
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? (Other than an outside baby! ). Long walks outside and running as soon as I'm cleared.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) I'm starting to feel pretty banged up by bed time. Add in some awful insomnia and it has made me a little cranky. Seems to be improving though... FX

Called MW yesterday because my fasting blood sugars have been rising, had to go today for an appointment and was put on meds. Will have weekly testing/appointments from here on out. Scheduled an u/s for next week. But MW was really awesome about reminding me that fasting #s can be the toughest and we have the least control over them compared to the others. She also commented that I must be doing a good job with my food because my weight was excellent.

A/O: been frustrated with my GD and worrying about how it might mess with my birth plan (prior induction due to GD and was hoping to experience going into labor) but after today I'm really trying to focus on healthy mother/baby as being most important.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Physically, I feel tired today. I have some lower back pain that is a little annoying, but other than that I am good. Emotionally, I feel great pregnancy wise, but not so great with other things in my life.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? None this week. I go back to the doctor on Monday.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions?
Onions- Work is really overwhelming right now. Trying to prep for my long term sub is taking up so much of my time. This is why I never take sick days! I am worried about leaving my students and that I won't have everything in place when I leave. Also, DH and I got in a fight this week over selling our house. I want to move too, but not now! He says he would take care of everything, but I don't think I could take on one more thing in my life right now. Luckily, he agreed that we need to wait until my mom is settled in her new house before we move because we might need to live with her while we are in between houses.
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? Hearing Vin Scully say "It's time for Dodger Baseball!" I love baseball season and can't wait for it to start!
How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) I'm fighting a cold and the coughing is the worst! Otherwise just feeling generally large and uncomfortable.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally)
Physically - backs been doing a bit better but a lil sore right now from yesterday. Knees and hips still hurting. Lo has this new thing of pushing hard as she can with her feet (?) against my left side when i am sleeping to the point of me waking up in horrible agonizing pain and there is nothing I can do about it. If i push back or rub the area she pushes harder. She'll push for 1-3hrs then finally stops. I really cannot take 6 more weeks of this! Not getting much sleep these days.
Emotionally- our little goat that we got only 3 weeks ago started crying in pain yesterday morn just before 1. I checked on him and he was not doing well. He had developed the same disease we lost our last goat to. The last one took a couple days to die. This poor baby at only 6weeks only. Took 4 hours to progress all the way through all the stages and passed away just before 5am. It was the worst thing i have ever had to watch in my life. Lately it seems like everyone is just going to do whatever they want and don't give a fudge how I feel. Basically I've been crying a lot lately.

Onions: baby is causing me excruciating pain. DH is still on drugs and out of state for 2weeks. I had to did a hole and bury our poor baby Doodle Bug yesterday all on my own. Mil still insists on having a shower 10days before lo is due even though I told her to wait til after the birth cause I am not traveling 2hrs each way at 38.5w she even upset me to the point of tears and all she could say is its fine maybe it'll make me go into labor. Got the invite yesterday and it's being held at a petting zoo cool I'll just go have my kid in a fucking manger it'll be very Jesus like! And worse than that she spelled her own grandchild's name wrong!

Well this kid hurting me from the outside rather than in would be amazing!! But let's see… losing weight and wearing cute clothes again…being able to walk across the yard without feeling like I am going to die… being able to enjoy sex again… hmmm they all seem to involve this kid being out of me.
How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) Physically, uncomfortable. Mentally, rough- heading into loss anniversary and it sucks.

What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples- DH and DD1 have been awesome lately and I've really needed it. Onions- I could really stand to lose all the fear and paranoia rattling around in my brain.

How are you feeling? (physically and emotionally) I went this entire time without getting sick until just now. I have a raunchy sore throat and cold and feel awful. I hope DH doesn't get it because if I am useless with it, he will be like practice taking care of a newborn.
Any appointments, ultrasounds, or milestones this week? Had an appointment today, and everything went OK. Still measuring a week behind, but I have been for a while, and the doctor said that's fine. Heartbeat good and got my TDAP shot.
What else is going on? Apples and Onions? Apples- Off work tomorrow and have a baby shower with some friends on Saturday. Onions- The cohost of my shower is also sick and I'm hoping we both feel better by then!
GTKY: What are you most excited about for spring? (Other than an outside baby!) Getting to wear skirts/shorts and enjoying being outside. I picked up a couple of pairs of maternity shorts and springy tops from my friends yard sale so I am happy to finally have some new fatty clothes to wear. I'm getting sick of the same rotation. Also happy to be getting off work in a couple of months.
