I am fighting tears since I just learned that my younger sister is pregnant on her first month TTC. She got married in mid January and obviously neither she nor her new husband have fertility issues.

What I hate most about IF is that I'm am turning into a jealous beotch and instead of feeling happy about their good news it just reminds me of what I can't have. I really am happy for her especially since she was first married to an abusive POS before meeting a loving, mature responsible man but I just hate feeling everyone but me was invited to the party.

I'm sorry you are feeling this way, but selfishly I am glad to know this doesn't just happen to me. Pregnancy announcements still give me anxiety and sting the first time I hear them. I always feel guilty about it, but I can't seem to get past it

((Big hugs)) pregnancy announcements suck the big one. I have a lot of FB friends that are pregnant right now. I want to be happy for all of them, but as we are getting ready to go back to the RE, it's hard to not be jealous or resentful

Yep, I'm right there with you. Even now P announcements are a gut punch. I'm so happy for everyone who can get P and have kids if they want them, but that initial reaction sucks.

I am so sorry it hurts, i understand as well, even pregnant with my second i am so jealous of everyone who its pregnant on their own, and stories where people say it took forever to conceive bc it took them more than one try, those stories are like knives to my heart...

I am sure you will be able to enjoy this once the shock wears off, but its ok to be emotional for now....

I feel your pain....pregnancy announcements still sting.....I don't feel any "pings" when I know someone has been trying for awhile, even if they don't have treatments. A friend of mine just announced her 2nd pregnancy. After telling me 2 months ago that she really wasn't ready for a 2nd but her husband was... and bam first month off the pill she gets pregnant. Did for her 1st too. Felt the need to call me after she POAS. I think my fertile friends think that now that I'm a mom their announcements won't hurt. They will never understand.....

Both of my sisters get pregnant extremely easily. It makes me feel like the odd one out, since we are so alike in other ways. Don't feel guilty.

Gah, I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I feel your pain. I'm hoping that maybe it would go away once I've had my own, but looks like that's not the case. I feel like people who have no trouble getting pregnant really don't know how good they have it sometimes. I have a friend who gets pregnant even when using condoms...I swear, she sneezes and ends up with a bun in the oven. Just made her husband get a V. Anyway, hang in there, I think it's a completely natural feeling.
