Another Monday is here! I wanted to add a note this week that this check-in is for all the ladies on this board. I know we've had quite a few introductions over the last few weeks and I wanted to make sure everyone knows they can post here so we can all get to know one another. Hi Ladies!

1) Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 5/20. 32 weeks

2) Age at delivery? (optional) 41

3) Any other children? Furbabies? 1 dog

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? Heartburn has been flaring up occasionally, but otherwise feeling good.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I have an appointment with the perinatologist this morning, so we'll get another peek on the ultrasound. Edited to add: The appointment went great. The peri reviewed the results of the U/S and said "You can't get more perfect than that.". So good to hear! I no longer have to see him monthly unless something of concern pops up toward the end.

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? The ability to walk in high heels.

1) Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

My due date is November 6, 2014. Right now, I am 7 weeks and 5 days along (or should be, anyway)

2) Age at delivery? (optional) 43 (God help me).

3) Any other children? Furbabies?A two year old son and two idiot dogs.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? Nauseous. Constant, barely remitting nausea, boobs still killing me, tired, back pain, and dry mouth. JOY!!!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Tomorrow is my first "confirmation of pregnancy" dating ultrasound. I am 75% terrified and 25% totally excited. I had a blighted ovum back in August/September, and distinctly remember when I lost my symptoms. I knew going into the ultrasound that things were not right. It is definitely different this time, but at my age, the only thing that will reassure me is a baby with a heartbeat measuring on track.

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? I would want the ability to heal. I think that would be incredibly awesome.

OK, so I'm late to this this week but here goes:
1) Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Aug 30th. 17 weeks and baby is size of an Onion.

2) Age at delivery? (optional) 40

3) Any other children? Furbabies? 1 dog, who has started sleeping with his favorite toy

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? generally OK but have had more trouble sleeping the last couple weeks. I"m on one side for a while, then the other then I switch back and on and on.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? 20 week appointment in a few weeks. Plan on getting a flu shot, I haven't yet and doc suggested I get one. I usually don't but he reminded me I may be more susceptible than in the past to getting colds (um, true, I've already had 2 bad ones). Hubby just got over one and I'm hearing more people coughing around me so I think I'm going to get one.

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? I think it would be flying. Many of my friends and family don't live near us so it would make getting there faster!

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week?
I feel fairly normal, seems like I'm eating, drinking and peeing more than usual.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? First appt is 3/22 so not for a while. I'm kinda stressed about work. I am currently working independent contractor jobs and I lost the one I had the week before my BFP. I am working on some new leads but still stressful especially since these are out of town so I will have to take off well before due date and all unpaid.

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? I also think flying. It sounds really fun and I could get back and forth to jobs easier/quicker.

I am having some waves of fatigue again, but nothing major. I think I might just be emotionally exhausted this week.
5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
Rant: We're not sharing the gender with anyone (except of course you ladies know). We've chosen sky blue and green as colors for the nursery - to go with a specific theme. It's really annoying me that everyone assumes it's a boy because of the blue. I finally told my MIL that blue is one of MY favorite colors, and I am a girl, so the paint color is not a clue. I would have painted the nursery blue had it been a girl anyway. I can't stand pink personally, but I really can't stand that colors have somehow become gender-specific. (Girls can have more than pink and purple!!)

Ah, ok, I feel better.

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
Definitely flying. I'd love the freedom and the different perspective.

Hi Ladies! So excited to be here and so grateful for the existence of and support of everyone on this board

1) Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? October 23, 9 1/2 weeks, I think the baby is almost a kumquat according to babycenter.

2) Age at delivery? (optional) 39

3) Any other children? Furbabies? One son, 5.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? Pretty bad morning sickness for the last few weeks. Starting to wonder if the baby is trying to get me to throw it up.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? maternity 21 next week. Frustrating day today as I had to do bloodwork to determine if I may have been exposed to Fifth's Disease at a playdate last week where the mom didn't say anything until after we arrived and were exposed to whatever virus the kid had.

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? x-ray vision so I could keep checking on the baby. That and "do-it-all" power!

Due Nov 30... I am 4w2d. Baby is teeny. Probably like a sesame seed.

I turn 39 in October.

3) Any other children? Furbabies?
Yes - a 6.5 year old girl.       No pets.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week?
Feeling good today. I got through my workout easily. (Yesterday was another story...)   Otherwise, I have just been a bit crampy... with hot flashes... (??) and hungry every 2-3 hours. Fortunately I only want healthy food. Today I would kill for a bowl of homemade veg soup.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I have another appt with my family doctor on Monday. We will get things ready for the NT scan.   I meet my new midwives for the first time on April 22. Can't wait!

To guess the winning lottery numbers? :P

1) Due date? How many weeks are you? What size is baby? Hi Ladies! I was posting here a lot more earlier in pregnancy, vanished for a while and now I'm back. My due date is Thursday 3/27!!! Baby is apparently a watermelon, at or around 7 lbs.

2) Age at delivery? (optional) 42

3) Any other children? Furbabies? We have a 21 month old daughter and a 9 year old beagle/heeler mix.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I am feeling anxious because I REALLY want this baby to come on time, with a natural labor (1st was induced at 41.5 weeks and there were issues w/placenta) so induction has been scheduled for April 1, just in case. Allergies killing me, incoming family driving me nuts, but I am sooo excited to meet this girl!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Ooops, guess I did that in question 4, lol. All of a sudden I am more anxious about my age, delivery complications, stillbirth, etc... hasn't been an issue for my worry before. Unrelated to this post, I have to say how much I appreciate the lack of snarky, rude and sometimes just mean comments on this board, as opposed to say, most of the others. Being older mamas definitely brings grace and tact!

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? Flight. It just seems so freeing and relaxing. Also, I'd like the super power to will this baby out quickly and healthfully sometime in the next 72 hours.

Guess ill be the odd one out...

1. Was due March 20, delivered March 15. DS2 is 11 days old today (Wednesday). I've been busy...
He was 9 lbs 2 oz and 23 inches long

2. 40 year old mom

3. Three kids; DD is 12 yo. DS1 is 16 months and DS2 is 11 days.

4. I feel awesome! I've lost all the weight I gained with this pregnancy already, now to work on losing the remaining 15 lbs I hadn't lost from my previous pregnancy.
Only issue I have is still a few uncomfortable stitches from tearing left to heal up.

5. LO has his 1 month appointment in a couple weeks. He is doing awesome! He sleeps really well at night, has several alert times throughout the day, and is generally a happy baby.

QOTW: Superpower?! Hmmm.
I'm not a superpower kinda person. I guess I wouldn't mind being able to clean the house really quickly so it was always organized?! I'm boring, I know.

He's very alert at times. Looks around and stares at us as if to put the face with the voices he's been hearing for months.
Rarely fussy unless he's got a burp stuck.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week?: I am feeling really good (finally). My energy is coming back.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?: Should get panorama results next week. Crossing into second tri. Yay!

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?:

Oooh Id love to be able to fly. I am a pilot in real life but to be able to fly without a plan would be amazing! Id also like to be able to pause time.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? Feeling anxious. Hard to know what to do with myself. I have been doing lots of checking on things in the nursery, playing with the carseat some more, cleaning the house everywhere.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Had "last" appointment yesterday. If baby does not come on her own I am scheduled for an induction on evening of April 2. My doctor told me I have a "great pelvis" and should have no trouble getting LO out of there. lol. Here's hoping!

I agree with those who say flying! I've also had dreams where I can do this, though not as much anymore (maybe they were wine induced -- will have to see if they return)

@desertmouse39 I wrote my piece before I saw your post -- can relate to everything you are saying! I have a scheduled induction next week as well just in case LO stays put (also due to my age -- baby and I have been fine the whole pregnancy). Best of luck to you for everything to go great!

@Surpriseat39 Congrats on your beautiful boy! He is adorable! Hope things are going as smoothly as can be with the new little one home.

@2redtulips my little girl's nursery is teal blue! I also can't stand pink or violet. Maybe in small doses but not for walls.

Sometimes I don't even feel pregnant other days I am exhausted and some times feel nausea

Can't wait for my doctor's appt April 7th - we should be able to hear the heart beat!

I also wish I could fly or time travel like "beam me up scotty" so that I could be in California one minute and New York the next!

Due on 10/6. 12 weeks and baby is a plum

No previous kids. This is our first. One fur baby, Sophie, our kitty.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week?

Feeling pretty good. Never had any bad nausea. Just some puny feeling days. I have been feeling bloated and constipated. My pants are getting tighter, too.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?

We just had our genetic counseling appt Tuesday. I was so stressed and worried about it. We opted for the new blood diagnostics test, just to be aware. We also has the NT scan ultrasound. I just never get tired of seeing that little one squirm! I was so relived when the tech said baby looks healthy.

We haven't told anyone but immediate family, but am looking forward to sharing the news very soon!

I think teleportation would be awesome! I would teleport myself someplace tropical right now.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I have had a subchorionic hematoma and now full on Carpel Tunnel...but I'm good.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? I've been lucky to have had several ultrasounds (close to 10!)...looking forward to the next one in two weeks.

thank you! My induction just got moved to Monday so I'm having this baby in March, dammit, one way or the other! LOL

Looks like the EDD is coming and going sans baby, unfortunately. I'm going to try some acupuncture tomorrow, I think. Good luck to you and your 'great pelvis'! That cracked me up when I read it, doctors say the most random things.

I'm so glad that someone else who has already delivered posted on the weekly check in. I have wanted to still post but didn't know if I should. So here goes:

1) Birth date? Luke Robert born March 12 at 3:52 p.m. How many weeks are you? He is now 2 weeks and 1 day old. What size is baby? He was 8 lbs. 5 oz. at birth and dropped to 8 lbs. 1 oz. at time of discharge but at 1 week appt. he weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. He's been eating like a pig though so I wouldn't be surprised if he was 10 lbs. by his next appt. LOL

2) Age at delivery? 36

3) Any other children? Furbabies? Luke is our first human baby. Our two pups Louie and Guinness are thrilled with their new baby brother.

4) How are you feeling? New symptoms this week? I ended up having an emergency C section so recovery has been rough. I've had good days and bad but just yesterday found out my incision is infected so I've now begun antibiotics. Luckily DH and my mom have been helping me out big time but next week I'll be on my own, yikes!

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves? Follow up incision check next Tuesday and 1 month appt. for Luke on April 14th

QOTW: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? To be able to read animals minds. I just know they all have inner dialogues that sound like Brian from Family Guy.

Hey Ladies! I'm a newbie. Not expecting yet but hopeful. 12 DPO and IUI. Praying that this is it!

Still TTC. Scheduled beta tomorrow 3/28 *FX*

Tired, emotional, bitchy, insomnia, pimples!! Some spotting

Beta test tomorrow 3/28!!!

Great except I'm tired! By the end of the day my belly feels heavy and I just want to lay on the couch. Hoping for a burst of energy! Pending the position he is in, my stomach can feel really tight at times which is uncomfortable.

5) Any upcoming appointments, milestones, rants or raves?
I moving from monthly appointments to every 2 weeks. The reality that our little guy will be here soon is starting to set in!!
