Intro/ question about breast soreness

Hi everyone my names Mariah and im a newbie here. I have a 7 yr old little girl and about to become an army wife in May when I get married. I made a previous post on TTGP, which didn't really go all to well and was informed to move on to this board. So as of right now I'm going to assume my BFN I got this morning was accurate until further notice. That being said, I wanted to see if anyone else experienced breast soreness very early on and where exactly at. Mine started out with my nipples being very sensitive almost painful. About a week ago though I gradually started noticing the tenderness affecting my entire breast now. Honestly I couldn't even tell you if this happened with my first pregnancy with it being so long ago. From everything I have read though when looking up symptoms, this the typical description of what you would experience. What I couldn't find anything on though is if you can feel it really close to your armpit. I don't know how to describe it really other than like how you would feel weight lifting during a workout. It's actually more tender in the area close to my armpits and my chest area right above where my breast technically begin. Did anyone else feel this also? Or is this something I should possibly be concerned about

Re: Intro/ question about breast soreness

  • Sorry I need to clarify that it was a BFP not a BFN that I got when I tested.

  • So you want to know how sore my boobs are and draw a map of where they are sore?

And let me guess you posted a drive by on TTGP didn't you? ::head desk::

  • My question is has anyone else had soreness not just in their breast or nipples, but in the surrounding areas near them. My upper chest is tender and all the way over near my armpits. At first I thought maybe it was a swollen lymph node that you have I'm your armpit. It feels like sore muscles after you work out with weights. I guess it just seems odd to be a symptom with pregnancy. I havnt done anything straining that would cause this either .

And yes, that term was mentioned when I posted in TTGP. I did not see the newbie blog to read before posting and assumed from the name of the board I was asking an appropriate question. It was a a crash coarse lesson learned
  • Your breast tissue extends much further than just your breast. It extends down your ribcage and under your arms. Based on your description, it sounds like normal sore breast tissue and not sore muscles.
  • Ahhh ok thanks for that little piece of knowledge. I have been trying to figure out what the heck could have/ is causing this for the last 4 days. Unfortunately this is one of those symptoms that don't make the cut to be recognized on google apparently.
