  I'm waaay with you on N. Korea being crazy (also, that is seriously the WORST haircut EVER), but they are also so far from what the textbook definition of Communism is that I don't think the word really applies.
  
  Nerdjack: If I had to define it, I'd say N.K. is an excellent example of a totalitarian regime that uses collectivist/communist language in its propaganda to entrench state-sponsored wealth-hoarding while its people live in abject poverty.

   I also like to nitpick at the difference between economic structures (Communism/Socialism/Capitalism/etc) and social ones (Democracy/Monarchy/Dictatorship/etc), so bear with me. ;-)

  They give women 18 hairstyles to choose from though, I think that's pretty generous. I think I'd go for #14 myself. Makes the job of being a hair stylist in NK pretty easy.

  
  

  Seriously though, I can't imagine living in a country like that. Those poor people without a voice.

  I very much doubt there are many curly-haired Koreans.
  
  I'm not going to beat a dead a dead horse other than to say I agree with most PPs on it not being communism that's the problem. This is just a whole 'nuther level of stupidity.
