I am so beyond bored today at work - I have lots of projects, and I keep diving into them, only to get bored / annoyed / distracted and I come back to TB.
Tell me something interesting.
Here's my silly tidbit - I made that practice smash cake the other day, in the shape of a baseball, and I thought it turned out pretty well. I was at the grocery store yesterday for a few things and I picked up ingredients to make one for this weekend... I was really excited to do it again and hopefully have it turn out eve better than last time (was going to use fondant instead of the red icing for the baseball stripes, etc). The store where I ordered his party cake was only selling 7 inch cakes for like $20, and no way was I going to spend that, so I was pretty pleased with myself for making my own.
And then, on my way to check out, I stopped for a loaf of crusty bread, and in the bakery case, they had a 6 inch cake in the shape of a baseball for $4.99.
DONE. Sorry about your non homemade cake kid, but this one will photograph WAY better. ;-)

I think we're in the same situation. to-do-list overload, thus procrastination. I am not normally like this. I think I just have a serious case of the "I don't wannas." Plus, lately I only have 30 minute chunks of desk time between meetings, which isn't a lot of time to actually get anything done. My next one is at 1 PM and lasts until 2:45. Snore.
Of course, this was after I dropped my husband back off at work and drove all the way to another city to said DMV only to realize he'd taken the checkbook and all my paperwork with him into the office. At least Sonya got a good nap in the car.
