NBR: I just have to say it

This pic has been floating around Facebook with comments from people like "oh it is funny cuz it's true" or "this is soooooo me! LOL!!"

I just have to say it, but don't want to say it directly to those people I know.

Get a freakin step stool.....

There - I said it.  Ok thanks for reading. Happy to have gotten that out of my system. :) May you all have a great day. :)

  • Loading the player...
  • I also have a step stool, but somethings that DH puts up above the microwave I can't reach with a step stool.  Are you short @Jen4033?

  • I'm about 5ft. I use a stool at times.
I very much apologize if my post offended. This is just my twisted sense of humor. It was meant just tounge in cheek.

  • I was still hopping up on the counter when I was 8+ months pregnant. We have these stools at the counter that spin, and I would crawl up on those and then the counter to water a plant. Every time I told myself it was a bad idea, and every time I did it anyways. DH would not have been impressed if he had been around...

  • @Jen4033 it didn't offend. I mostly climb on the counters at school because I don't have a step ladder there.

  • I'm not even remotely offended, BTW. :D

I used to keep a step stool around but I kicked it way more than I ever used it so I started calling it names. I'm pretty nimble so I always just jump up on the counter. Also, unless I had a full size ladder I wouldn't be able to reach the top shelves of my cabinets. My kitchen has 9 foot ceilings and I'm 5'2". SHORT. PROBLEMS.

Being pregnant was such a pain in the ass in that regard, LOL. I had to ask MH to get everything!

  • I was clumsy before and PP I drop, trip/knock over anything I'm near  :-S  I'd definitely sprain an ankle if I had one of those in the kitchen.  Instead I never have anything on the top shelf of those cabinets.

@Jen4033 - I hear you though, it's annoying when people post stuff like that and there's an obvious solution!
