another middle name discussion

So I'm not pregnant yet but we will be trying next month. Last time we got pregnant first time...so I'm expecting the same.

I predict another boy and love the name Sam. Last name is W two syllables. Any suggestions for a middle name? I prefer short uncomplicated single syllable (maybe two) names.

Would the full first name be Sam or Samuel? I also love the name Sam, mostly for the nickname Sammie, it's on my list of boy names for sure.

I have lots of suggestions for Samuel but not really for just plain Sam.

Im a huge fan of family names as the middle. For some reason I've picked Wilson as your last name and Sam James Wilson (or any middle name for that matter) sounds dumb...clearly i am no help this morning :: runs off to find coffee

Yes, that is who I mean. Clearly I NEVER watch those shows. ;-) But I thought Sam Elliot was a celebrity name. I'll google. I also really like the name Elliot - I had a childhood friend named Elliot who passed away when we were young, and he was such a nice kid (sorry to get morbid).
