GTKY: Day Out with LO

The board seems kind of slow, so I wanted to post a GTKY question/scenario.

You have the day off of work (if you work), the weather is nice, and you have fifty dollars to spend (if you need it.)  Where do you go for the day, and why?

    Aquarium, then walk around by the pier and get a cheap lunch somewhere.

    I'd have to pick the zoo.  Our city's zoo isn't awesome, but it's been years since I've been, and it'll be a lot of fun to see it through LO's eyes!!

    We love the botanical gardens near us (have a season pass), but we haven't been for a month or two because it's been so cold.  So if it were a nice day, I probably would go there, then out to lunch somewhere, and maybe a little shopping for a new outfit or book for LO.

    If I were to go someplace new, I would probably go to the children's museum near us.  I have been meaning to take him for a while.

    The zoo also. Or a place near us called tanganika zoo place-you can play with some of the animals there

    Newfounlandland isn't really known for its abundance of zoo's, aquariums, etc. if we had nice weather we wouldn't even need the 50 dollars, both myself and my LO could have a great time just playing g in the backyard. He lights up the moment we step outside but unfortunately it is so cold and snow covered out there he never gets to enjoy it.

    Probably the Zoo too... Preferably in central park so we can hang out in the park after and explore. If it was really warm I'd pack him up and head to the beach!

    I'm with @weddinginthecove what I wouldn't give right now to just spend all day outside.  Playing with LO in the grass, laughing as Zeus brings him his toys,having a picnic, showing him our vegetable garden, playing ball, go the the nearby park ...

    Sorry that just kinda turned into a springtime fantasy...
