well, I'm a genius...

We just switched L from the newborn GMD workhorses to the small size.  After changing L last night, DH came in and said "I don't like these new fitteds the old ones were much more absorbent."  I said "yeah, and I thought the fit was funny too."  So I go to look at them this morning....guess who forgot to prep the diapers before using them!  The really sad part is, we've been using them for a couple days (we only use them at night).  

So, did I do any damage to the diaper by using them before they were prepped?  I assume just wash them like normal and then prep them (only about 1/2 my stash was used).

    No damage. If I know I don't need the full absorbency right away, I only do one wash.

    I did this with my simplex and Twinkie Tush.

    Hahahaha, silly.  Yeah, just wash and prep as usual.  Throw them in with your sheets and towels if they need washing too.
