Roll Call

Yep, I'm posting this at 9:30 CST. We had a miserable day and I'm expecting a worse night. Hangry baby, stupid issues with the new pump and the PICC that took an hour to sort out, and then DH got a gushing nosebleed out of nowhere that dripped all over the couch. Luke has now been in bed for 1.5 hours and has already woken up 3 times.

And if that f*cking yippy dog across the street doesn't stop sounding like a fussing baby I am going to lose it.

Anybody else already ready to throw in the towel on tonight?

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts!
DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

Re: Roll Call

  • Awwww man :(( I'm so sorry. The kiddo just went to sleep about 30 minutes ago, so we'll see how the night goes here. I hope yours gets better asap.

  • Yuck, that sounds like an awful night. Hopefully the rest of it plays out better than you are expecting!! **crossing my fingers for you**

I'm just logging on to see what I missed today then off to bed. Hopefully I'll get more sleep tonight than I did last night. This sinus infection needs to be done already!

That sucks! I hope he settles down for you soon!

A is not sleeping soundly tonight. He took twice as long to fall asleep and has fussed a lot since he went down. Plus he has already been up once for a feeding.
The good news is he remembered how to turn on his aquarium...with his head. D'oh!
  • I'm losing my mind. It's midnight and Tess is still awake. My once good sleeper has gone from bad to worse over the past 6 weeks. It's like I have a newborn. I have spent the past 5 hours trying to get her to sleep.

  • Sorry @mimi_8607‌ and @martyn17‌ .
I am about to try the put back (in crib). We shall see how that goes. I am trying to wean us both off cosleeping.

  • Sorry for crappy the crappy day. So hard! Hoping for sleepy night for us all....

Up for the second time. Looks like a normal upeverytwohours night here.

Hey LO. Remember when you used to sleep 3-5 hours and them that one month where you slept up to 7 hours?? I miss it.
Also, I do enjoy snuggling but never planned on cosleeping. But up every two hours is so much harder if she's not next to me. Sigh. Weaning to have her crib sleep would be nice... If she could have a long stretch again

  • Party babies will party...though it's more fussing in our house tonight. Colds + teething = misery. I got maybe 3hrs sleep last night and will be lucky to get the same tonight at the rate we're going. They sure love to alternate wakeful times.

Hope you ladies are getting more sleep than I am!

  • Awake here for the second time unfortunately.
  • Up for #2. Here's to hoping for some longer stretches of sleep for the babies tonight
  • I'm sry to all u mommas still up regularly w lo...
I count my blessings but am up tonight to join u thanks to insomnia (or too much coffee today)
  • No sleep here, but we've moved past the hangry yelling trying to sleep phase which requires me to constantly pace and bounce and have moved into party mode. He just wants to read books. And he is SO excited to turn the pages. How can I argue with that? (For an hour and a half. In the MOTN.)

Hugs and sympathetic love tits to all you sleepless mamas out there.

I'm up. My kid is sleeping now, but has been up three times. I haven't been asleep since 1. My alarm goes off in 1.5 hours. I feel like it is going to be a loooong day.

  • Sorry for all of the rough nights, mamas. :( We're up for first breakfast over here, but I'm relieved that it's already past 4 that she woke up.

All the coffee for all!! ~O) >:D<

They enjoy being cute in the MOTN when we don't have a camera ready. I often tell DD that it's a good thing she's cute!
    :x
  • Up yet again.

One of my favorite things, even when I exhausted, is when I am rocking LO and I think he is asleep and then he lifts his head and gives me a big smile!

That sounds adorable but not as adorable as sleeping ;)
