Cramping/burning??

I've looked around to see if anyone else has discussed this but didn't find much, so I apologize if this is a repeat post!

I'm 14 weeks and lately I've been having a terrible "burning" and cramping. It usually brings me to my knees with pain and I get overheated and start sweating. It's seems like it's in my bladder area or in the opening of my vagina but it's hard to tell!

When this happened the first time, my urine came back as negative for infection, so I went to a urologist for more info. She said I have a very small vaginal infection and prescribed an injectable gel that I used. This was a few weeks ago and now that pain came back tonight. I'm trying to differentiate between burning and cramping or stretching of my uterus. Does anyone else have any experience with this type of pain? Anything helps!! Thank you!!

Re: Cramping/burning??

  • I don't...but please call the doctor again tomorrow. Sounds like the meds didn't quite take care of the infection and it came back. Feel better soon!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I agree with PP's go to your dr immediately. Till then, try a hot compress on your belly.
  • Thank you everyone!

  • Update: good news! No infection. Sent my urine in again to be sure nothing was "brewing" She said I could just be having terrible cramping and to take tylenol as needed. I can deal with it as long as there's no infection :) Thanks everyone for your thoughts!
