Pumping Question

Hello ladies. Need some advice. My LO is 6 weeks old and I am returning to work in a month and want to start pumping. My LO currently nurses on one breast per feeding after is was determined (by an LC) that I had an oversupply issue with my left breast. The LC recommended pumping the other breast during/after nursing. My question is should I be pumping the other breast after everytime I nurse so that way when I go back to work I can double pump? Or should I just pump one breast at a time when I go back to work. Any advice or suggestion would really help!
