EDD #2 5.4.17
Symptoms? just exhausted, can't seem to get enough rest.
Upcoming appointments? just had an appt, next one is in two weeks at 33 weeks.
Rants/raves? My son turns 2 this friday! it's crazy how fast the last 2 years have gone and what a little man he is. I am full of emotions that is for sure.
GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery? I'm really hoping for a VBAC, so i'm hoping to go into labor before my dew date. Otherwise my fear is prepping for a c-section while feeling no contractions. I know i will forsure feel the spinal block which makes me nervous.
Symptoms? Terrible heartburn and terrible sciatic pain.
Upcoming appointments? Not till next week and then I start weekly appointments.
Rants/raves? Just my painful back and sciatic pain.
GTKY: I'm afraid of baby going to the nicu (just my own fear as a nicu nurse)...I want to keep baby with me and do skin to skin and nurse.
Also afraid of back pain post delivery - I had back pain for a few months and I think it was due to the epi...it took four tries to get it in and I finally had to lay down for them to get it in. Then when they went to take it out they said it should slide right out and I shouldn't feel anything. It hurt like a bitch and I made them stop...the nurse had me lay in the position I was in to get it to take it out and it slid right out without me feeling it.
Symptoms? Some fatigue, as well as, I keep aggravating my shin splints when I work out.
Upcoming appointments? Just had one everything is still looking fantastic.
Rants/raves? Loving how much more comfortable I am compared to when I was pregnant with my first son. Just sucks I keep aggravating my shin splints.
GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery?
Tearing/getting cut, they wanted to with my first son and I refused. Luckily I didn't end up tearing. Him coming out quite and limp like my first son. Getting my son to a sitter, no family hubby may be on duty(milt gone for 24 hours). Hope the hospital won't mind a 3 year old in the delivery room until someone gets him lol!!

Swollen vagina, like really swollen. Why isn't it just cute and flat?
Upcoming appointments?
Echo and 24 hour heart monitor on Thursday. Regular OB appt on Monday.
Rants/raves?
Rant- I've had less than no motivation to do anything lately. I wish the cats would do the dishes.
Rave- I've really enjoyed learning and practicing relaxation techniques during our labor classes. It's making me feel a lot better about labor.
GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery?
That my epi won't work, I'll be in labor for over 24 hours and that the baby will get rushed to the NICU after delivery.

Symptoms? I've been more tired than usual lately.

GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery? I'll be having a RCS. I can't remember how bad the pain was after DD, and am praying it's not too bad this time around. I'll have a 2 year old at home and a newborn, so that worries me a little bit. Thankfully I have family here who all plan to help me out. I'm really hoping the recovery time afterwards isn't too bad.
Rants/raves? Rants: kind of annoyed with my OB office lately. First time I did the glucose 1 hr test at 27 weeks they didn't call me until 29 weeks to tell me "oh hey we couldn't run your blood test, the tube coagulated. We need you to come and do it again". Ugh really!? So I did it again asap.... now it's been 2 weeks again and still no word on my results. I'm going with no news is good news, but still. Raves: baby's crib bedding is coming in today! My step mom got us a super cute one I'd never spend that much money on (from PB), but so thankful she got it for us (cause she and DH fell in love with Peter Rabbit, which I love too!). All packed and ready to go for our trip to Myrtle Beach for a few days. Would love to go when it's warmer, but we're only going because DH has an interview and testing process for the police department there. So we're taking an extra 2 days to have a mini baby moon! Happy to have a few days with him since I haven't seen him much lately. ...OHHH! and I just finished making brownies hehe
GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery? How my herniated disk is gonna hold up. Obviously nervous about delivery in general, but when you have back pain from just a BM some days, actually pushing a baby out is starting to terrify me.
Symptoms? Baby suddenly enjoys doing shimmy shakes that vibrate my entire stomach. Also increased indigestion (again)
Upcoming appointments? Just had one today, next is in 2 weeks
Rants/raves? Rant: Rough time with mom lately.
GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery? Suddenly, I feel like I should know more about giving birth. I just keep thinking "There are experts there who will help me. No amount of planning can stop the unexpected." So I find out what I can, but I am going into this with the trust and knowledge that the doctors and nurses will guide me through.
Symptoms? Indegestion, fatigue, and never wanting to be home alone.
Upcoming appointments? This Friday
Rants/raves? I wish I wasn't too big to enjoy sex. Sry for the TMI
GTKY: What are your fears about labor and delivery?
Ripping or being cut. Having to have an epideral. Baby having her first bowel movement inside of me and not being able to hold her right away because of it. I had this case with my son I was so bummed:( but happy he wasn't affected.
