For those of you who work in a business casual environment (i.e. slacks and blouses/sweaters during the week and jeans on Friday), do you wear dressy capri pants and sandals to work when the weather is warm? Do the shoes linked below seem appropriate to wear with slacks and capri pants during the summer? One of my favorite things about warm weather is a fresh pedicure and open-toe shoes!
Personally I am not a fan of capris, maybe b/c I'm short so they tend to look awkward on me. But I wear sandals with slacks or a dress. Those shoes look good. I think any heeled sandals are fine for work, just no flip flops.
I wouldn't just because they have no back at all. But most business casual work places would probably deem them appropriate. I'm prissy, though, and won't wear capris. They are just a little too casual for me for work. I do love a good sundress with a cardi, though!
Re: Summer work wardrobe
I would think most business casual work environments would deem those OK to wear. If you are unsure though, it's always best to ask HR.
We don't have a dress code in my office. In the summer I rely on dresses, skirts and lightweight tops.
