Update on my LO

Have been fighting a "cold" since October. Have been in and out of the doctor with her. Have been on Albuteral, Qvar, Amoxicillin and have been waiting to get into the pulmonary specialist for 2 months. Her apt was yesterday. They took chest xrays and turns out that she has been aspirating which is causing the throwing and and they think she has "silent reflux". We go back on the 4th to do a video feed/swallow test to see where and why she is aspirating. Doctors told me to take her off all meds and to dry Zytec. Did that this am and at about 11am, got a call from daycare letting me know that she thew up an entire bottle. They all know the situation and they know she isnt actually "sick" so they dont send her home without a fever. It just sucks and I want all the answers right now. Thanks for letting me vent ladies.

I'm sorry they are waiting until the 4th to do the swallow study. Any recommendations from them until the study - thicken feeds, positioning, etc. Good luck, big hugs, andd Fx for a quick resolution and solution.

They didnt suggest anything

they said to just wait it out until the 4th. I have been adding a little cereal to her bottles but it's even when she eats good as well. Can't really thicken that up. This waiting game sucks. Thank you for all your kind words.
