Best Christmas Present Ever!

Hi ladies!

Well, I can officially join you all on the "bump" now. DH and I got a BFP two weeks ago and we couldn't be more excited! I've been off birth control for 6 months now but this was our first month actually trying so I feel really blessed that it happened so quick! Tomorrow, I'll be 6 weeks (with a EDD around the end of August sometime).

We told our parents at Christmas (we took a pic of the positive pregnancy test and stuck it in a Christmas card). My MIL almost had a heart attack she was so excited. My mom and sisters were also super surprised and everyone can't wait since this is the first baby for both sides.

Anyway, it still seems really surreal. My first real appointment is January 6th, and hopefully I'll be able to hear the heartbeat then. So exciting!

Oh, did I mention my birthday is New Years Eve? Guess this girl will be the DD that night! One thing, if you know me in real life, we've only told our immediate families so keep this on the down low for a few weeks.

Congrats! That is soo exciting! Don't be surprised if you don't hear the heartbeat at the first appt. Sometimes it takes 2-3 appts to hear. Have a H&H 9 months!!!
