today is my son's 3 year angelversary **may have living child/children tickers**

It was 3 years ago that my son Logan was born still. Plenty of friends I am connected with online have offered a shoulder to lean on today. Not one person in my family said anything. Not even DH. I had to ask him if he remembered what day it was. He said yes and gave me a hug. Wtf. Why does everyone pretend like he doesn't exist?

    BFP #2 Oct 20, 2010; My little boy was born on July 5, 2011

    BFP #3 April 30, 2013; Chemical Pg May 5, 2013

    BFP #4 Aug 22, 2013; It's a boy.  Loss discovered at 24 weeks on Jan 15, 2014 (cause CMV virus)

    I am so sorry.  Happy angelversary, Logan.  I am always scared people will forget my boys as well (some people already pretend they never existed, and its only been two months).  Just know that you remembering your son and loving him is enough.  You love him more than the entire world can. That being said, I do wish you had more support and acknowledgement, especially during this time.  Hugs to you.

    Me: 32 DH: 33  High School Sweethearts  Married 5/28/2005
    DS1 born 6/5/10 at 40 weeks via emergency c-section due to fetal distress and IUGR caused by placental insufficiency
    DS2 born still 8/28/13 at 32 weeks via emergency c-section due to a complete placental abruption - cause unknown
    Baby #3 on the way, EDD 2/29/16.  Originally twins, but we said goodbye to Baby B at 8 weeks.

    Happy angelversary Logan!

    I am thankful you are surrounded by friends who have offered a shoulder. Wish your family were more aware of your needs. Perhaps you need to tell them. Do you do anything special to recognize the day? That might help them realize you need acknowledgement of the day. I know we often dont want to have to tell people, but at least it gives them a chance to live up to our expectations.
