Omg LO tripped and smashed his face onto a baseboard heater. Teeth cut his lip (I think) and got a bloody nose too.

He was due for a nap, so after we calmed him down and iceed his poor face, I am nursing him to sleep. There was so much blood everywhere, my shirt is just covered in it. Luckily the swelling seems to be going down, doesn't appear that he's broken his nose or teeth. This is the first time anything has happened, at least there was nothing I could have done to prevent it so I can't beat myself up over it..poor little guy

Aw...so sorry that happened. I can't believe how many bumps and bruises Claire has now that she is mobile. I feel like she bashes her head into something everyday.

Awe poor baby. It can be very scary when you see blood. Mason fell the other day and hit his face on the chair when he fell. He cried so hard and got a bruise. I felt so bad but like you I couldn't do much other then comfort him. I hate when he crys that hard. :-( But with little boys they will have a lot of bumps and bruises.

Yeah we are there too, she has bruises in all shades and bumps and scrapes. I'm just gald it wasnt anything serious like bust open his lip or break his nose

I am sorry that happened! It is scary to see that much blood. When Connor bit into his tongue his mouth was full of blood for about three minutes straight, then I realized he also bit his lip. (all he was doing was eating). It is indeed scary!

Ugh, a week ago same thing happened over here. He tripped and nose-dived into the wall and hit it just right. He already had a runny nose to begin with so his face was covered in blood. Poor babies.

The blood is horrifying. Grant fell when he was two and needed a few stitches on his forehead. I think it took a few months off my life. I am glad your LO is better!
