This is a weekly check-in for women who have suffered the loss of an angel with an EDD in June, no matter what the year. You are welcome to join us, just post an intro including your EDD and the information below:

@rmpar29 6/26/2013- How’s the 2WW dear? Are you going crazy yet? Are you beta or bust?

The 2WW is dragging and it's driving me completely crazy. I'm going to POAS on Sunday and then I have betas on Monday. I'm crampy, exhausted and am starting back into my progesterone headaches. Fun times!

QOTW - I usually sleep on my left side, although occasionally I will wake up on my right side, or my back.

@MrsG80inTN 6/7/2014- Where do you plan on going on your vacay in May? And it looks like you’re gearing up for O. FX for great timing!

As for me... it does seem like I'm gearing up. I had so hoped to O around CD14, but my body doesn't seem to be agreeing with that. Here's to hoping I do actually O this cycle... I'm tired of this every other month crap. For our vacay we go stay at a condo my parents own in Florida near Sarasota. It's always a nice getaway and cheaper since we don't have to pay for a hotel :-)

@rmpar29 - no I didn't... call me a chicken... I also hadn't discussed it with DH and didn't have time to schedule and by the time I realized it had to be done fasting I was certainly not fasting. I know I need to get it done... I'm hoping I can get my regular OB to order the testing rather than having to go see an RE... I have about 2 weeks to decide though

My Claire Bear EDD was 6/27/14, the same day as my husbands birthday. Missing her terribly.

I have a post partum visit next week for an abnormal pap smear I had before I delivered Claire. I wish they would have looked more into the reason for the "abnormal" then and maybe that would have saved her.

I haven't had a period yet since I had her so I really haven't been able to start calculating anything.

I usually sleep on either side. When I sleep on my back, I snore. Well at least my DH says I do.

Hello ladies! Thanks for the check-in @jbasore1123 . How are you doing?

@peggels24 6/4/2014- Only a couple more days until Aruba! Are you all packed? What do you plan on doing on your trip?

I’m about 90% packed. Still working on some bathing suits and there are of course some last minute items that need to go in the bags. We haven’t made a lot of particular plans for the trip yet – we’re going to play it by ear when we get down there. I know that we have a couple of nights planned for some big group dinners at some of my friends’ favorite restaurants; there was talk of a pub crawl along the beach bars; DH and I are scheduled for a romantic evening by ourselves on Tuesday; and I’m sure we’ll do some exploring but mostly pool or beach sitting and relaxation.

Work is killing me right now – I hate going away because of this!!!!! (I know I know – stop complaining Peg LOL)

QOTW: I sleep on my back or on my right side (facing the outside of the bed).

@MrsG80inTN - CD3 b/w is non fasting.

@racegurl87 - Absolutely, you can have an LH surge, but not ovulate. Your body can gear but not ovulate several times a cycle. Temping would definitely shed some light on what's going on and if you are actually ovulating. I believe I read that there's only a 20% chance of conceiving each cycle, so it normal to have to try for awhile until it happens. Don't get discouraged until it's past the year mark.

racegurl87 - sorry your cycles have been wonky. I think you'll find temping to be helpful in giving you some insight into what is going on with you. It's been very insightful for me. I wish I had started it years ago instead of waiting 4 years to try it... LOL

@peggels24 - have so much fun on your vacay - I'm jealous.

@KristinDMiller - hope your appt goes ok. Thinking of you.

The party is back on! He realized that it's his own insecurity and that I will be surrounded by friends and family.
I've been temping and I've only missed 2 days. Maybe the day I missed I ovulated? I'm not sure how to attach my chart

@Waliany2015 - I don't see a temp shift yet, so I would say that you haven't O'ed. I'm glad that the party is back on!

@waliany2015 - yay for getting to have the party. Glad YF had a change of heart!!!! And yay for starting to chart. It doesn't look to me like you ovulated yet, but I'm definitely not an expert... I O around CD 18/19 normally and my temps jump around a lot until I O... though this month they are staying oddly low... who knows what that's about.

Thanks ladies!! This temping is stressful!! I had no idea I am such a late O'er. My cycles are usually 28 days but who knows! I had like a 36 day one a while ago.

And I usually sleep on my side. If my fireman is at the station I will sleep diagonal all wrapped up in the down comforter.

Hi @jbasore1123 Thank you for the check in. How are you doing?

We are happy about the results because now we have officially decided that we will be trying again. I just got my first AF today since the tx (6 weeks on the dot) and will be TTC right away. Our hopes for a 2014 baby are done, but we will hopefully welcome a 2015 baby with open arms.

QOTW -side sleeper. Middle of the bed making my hubby practically sleep on the floor sleeper as well.

Question, I am reading that so many of you ladies are temping. Is this a better and more reliable method vs the Clearblue ovulation monitor? I ended up purchasing my CB monitor last time I was TTC since I never even heard of temping. I don't know if I should use it again or if I should give temping a shot. Any thoughts?

kittymeowbark - I used an ovulation monitor for months that a friend gave me... one of the expensive ones and I swear I just don't test well... It gave me ovulation markers 1 month out of 8. Now, that was before my endometriosis removal surgery so maybe my system was that wacked... through temping I've been able to notice a pattern that I appear to only ovulate every other month (likely due to PCOS though that's not a clear diagnosis for me yet)... I feel like temping tells me way more, but a lot of people use both which really helps fertility friend know more about you and your cycle.

@racegurl87- (((Hugs))). I'm sorry that it didn't work out this cycle. And yes, it's possible not to ovulate despite an LH surge. I was noticing 2 LH surges for a few cycles after my first loss. Temping definitely helped me figure things out! And like @rmpar29 said, chances of conceiving are low, even with perfect timing- hang in there!
@KristenDMiller- Welcome to our check-in, I'm so sorry for your loss of Claire. How long ago was your loss?
@peggels24- I hope you have a great vacay! Make sure you post pics when you come back

@Walianry2015- I'm glad YF came around to you having a party. Did you end up trying this cycle? I thought you were going to wait until after the wedding?
@kittymeowbark- When I was TTC naturally, I did both. The monitor helped me pinpoint when I would likely ovulate (or at least confirm it since I was always very regular) but temping allowed me to confirm that I did indeed ovulate. Using the monitor and temping also showed me that I had a few cycles where I was surging multiple times and only ovulated once.

Nothing new to report here. Waiting for AF so I can get started on BCP. I should have started today if my cycles were normal, but since the IVFs my cycles have been longer than normal so I have no idea when to expect her. I'm eager for May to get here!!

@jbasore1123‌ we are TTA until the wedding but I have started temping early just to get to know my cycles better and it gives me something to do. I can see there is no temp shift. Could it be that I missed it on day 14 or does it last more than one day?
I hope AF shows quickly for you!!

My temp was seriously down this morning... who knows what is up with my cycle. I've traditionally O'd on CD19 or so which would be tomorrow so there's still hope. I have no idea what to expect with it being the cycle after a loss. Why can't this be easier?

My coworker has really been fabulous about all of this. She struggled for 2 years to have her first, and this one was not planned. She gets that it is a struggle and she understands from her past experience that talking about it and seeing it can be difficult, so she's been very respectful. Strangely, now that I am "forced" to be around it, I'm finding myself being able to slowly talk about her pregnancy, which I couldn't do a month ago. It still hurts, but I can feel that I am slowly beginning to heal, just a little bit.

I'm sort of happy that my cycle *seems* to be starting to find a new normal. I'm going to acupuncture, meditating at night, seeing a therapist. All of those things are helping me to de-stress. I am finding that I am obsessing over TTC less, my relationship with DH is becoming more "normal" and healthier and happier. We start joint counseling next week. I finally feel like I'm turning a corner after the loss of my LO and my dad.

kittymeowbark I haven't used that monitor, but at first I was using OPKs alone, once I added temping I realized I was totally missing my O date by 4 days. I would try temping!

Hello all newbie here. I was due June 17. Which was also my grandfather's birthday. He passed when I was 16. I found out I was pregnant on my cousins birthday,(Oct 21) due on my grandfathers,(6-17) found out it was a missed miscarriage on my nephews birthday,(12-9) and the m/c occurred with cytotec on my close friends birthday(12-11)... kinda hard... all those birthdays...

I was supposed to have a 12 week check up and fetey only measured 8 and had no HB.

Currently TTA until I get a green light from my GI doctor because I have been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and have to wait for the flare to go away. I see that doctor in a month.

I'm new too! My EDD was June 27th and we miscarried on 11/18. My cycles have been messed up and irregular since then and I found out I have little to no progesterone in me :P waiting for my prescription to come in for that and temping in the meantime.
Today I felt like a emotional mess I found out two women I know are expecting and another gave birth today. Not to mention the two baby showers coming up. I also work with a young mom who is not a good mom at all (cps is being called on her by another coworker) she knows about our loss and yet had the guts to tell me that I'm lucky to not have to deal with a baby yet. I still am in shock that I didn't punch her in the teeth. Does anyone else have rude people like that in your life? How are you dealing with them?

Oh and I never sleep a certain way I toss and turn all the time
