News/Feeling - Feeling pretty good. I've just had to start pacing myself a bit - when I'm on my feet too much cleaning/cooking my back and pelvis get Really sore, so I'm trying to just stop and take a break and read a book with dd when I start to feel sore, seems to be keeping my pain at bay which is good
GTKY: STM here (I have an almost 4 yo). I had a friend offer to throw me a shower yesterday, I politely declined and asked for a lunch our with her instead. We really need next to nothing for the baby, and the few things we do need I have pretty much already purchased. Shower first time around was fun though My MIL threw it for me at 31 weeks
Feeling okay - back is KILLING me. Other than that, seem to be good to go. Some minor emotional break downs and tears, but no biggie!
FTM - having a few showers - my parents are all divorced and have huge families so we are splitting up the families - first is in early May and other one is last week of May. I am very glad, because I did not want to be doing that and hauling things home too far along!
I keep thinking we are almost there and then I look at the weeks left in my "what to expect" book and realize it is pretty far off already ready to meet my boy!
So much gas, so much reflux, but other than that, great!
I really don't enjoy baby showers. I didn't have a shower with my first, and when a friend offered to throw one this time around I asked if we could do a spa day instead.
No news, not feeling too wonderful. So stinking tired all the time. I work full time and I have a 20 month old at home. I feel so guilty when I get home, but most days I only have the energy to cook dinner and watch DS play. I really should do more.
New symptoms are pelvis/hip pain and heartburn. Had both of them last time, but was hoping for a different experience this time. Oh well, only 15 weeks left! I have found that continuing with my daily workouts has helped me not to feel so shaky and weak on my feet from said pelvis/hip pain. Also, I had to stop doing ab floor work like crunches and leg lifts, boohoo. I now do transverse abdominal exercises while standing against a wall. It's also a good way to keep the pelvic floor muscles toned by adding pelvis tilts and Kegels. Leaky pee is no fun!
I'm a STM, my first baby just turned 2 this month. I had a shower with her when I was in my 8th month. No showers this time, but I wish I had bought more stuff as opposed to borrowing it last time! All of my friends seem to be expecting around the same time as me and I had to give back the swing, bouncer, nap nanny, tub, jumparoo, baby bjorn, I even have to buy a new infant car seat!

Feeling great, besides needing to brush my teeth after any food.
STM my sister has talked about giving me a shower. She and my other sister hosted my shower with my son. No dates mentioned yet.
