gastritis during pregnancy

I feel like I`m going to die. Last 3 days my stomach hurts like hell because my gastritis is back. Because I`m pregnant I can`t take any treatment (pills) . 
If anyone esle has/had this problem.. how did you survive?
The pains are just unbearable , I`m crying.

    I have been using Tums and Mylanta and a very plain diet.

    I've been taking Nexium for minor gastritis.  I've had it before (pre-preg) and PPIs are the only thing that works for me.

    My doctor prescribed protonix & it's helped the whole pregnancy. Good luck! I know it's horrible pain. Sorry you're having a flare up. :(

    My doctor prescribed a medication for me (the name isn't coming to me at the moment). Plus I take a Zantac as well and Tums in between. It sucks! Especially towards the end i'm feeling worse and cannot wait for baby to get here....hoping for a little relief.

    Heating pads always help when I am trying to fall asleep.  Other than that, a low fat/fried/spicy diet also helps.  Also, eating smaller, more frequent meals helps.

    I took pantoprazol (protonix) before, during and after pregnancy...good stuff!
