Favourite Cocktail

I'm in a wedding in May and the bachelorette party is in April. We're going to one of the gulf islands to stay overnight at a resort there. We rented two cottages and it's going to be fun. Anywayyyyssss...... Each of the bridesmaids is making a signature cocktail to have at the party and I'm not really a drinker so I don't have a favourite cocktail. Share with me your favourite cocktails (with recipe). :) ;;) >:D< :x <:-P :-bd

Re: Favourite Cocktail

  • Tequila, triple sec, presidente brandy, and sweet and sour best margaritas ever!
  • Loading the player...
  • The perfect lemon drop
Rim martini glass with sugar and add a lemon twist to glass

In a shaker with ice combine 2oz citron vodka
    Squeeze two lemons
1/2 to 1oz Cointreau or triple sec
    2 1/2-3oz sweet and sour
And a dash of OJ literally just a cap full to cut the acidity of the sour mix

Shake vigorously and strain into martini glass or enjoy strained over fresh rocks in a sugar rimmed rocks glass.

For those of you that love raspberries or chambord add a 1/4 oz of that to make a delicious raspberry lemon drop!

My fave cocktail to make and drink!

I love tequila with fresh grapefruit juice. It's kind if a pita to squeeze but it feels lighter than a lot of cocktails.

  • Dirty martini girl right here...Bombay sapphire gin (not vodka, bleach) and olive juice, with olive garnish. If you want a sweet drink, I suggest Blue Hawaiian; rum, pineapples juice and blue curaçao...sooo yummy!
  • I'm with @sdtchica13 on the dirty martini. Mmmm and stuff the olives with bleu cheese.

  • Orange flavored vodka w/ginger ale.  So yummy.  You can barely taste the vodka, so be careful! ;)

Dirty martini girl here too, but kettle one vodka not gin
  • An old fashioned... mmmmm

    2 oz bourbon whiskey
    2 dashes Angostura® bitters
    1 splash water
    1 tsp sugar
    maraschino cherry
    orange wedge

Mix sugar, water and angostura bitters in an old-fashioned glass. Drop in a cherry and an orange wedge. Muddle into a paste using a muddler or the back end of a spoon. Pour in bourbon, fill with ice cubes, and stir.

It's totally not a martini then, lol!
