I found out yesterday my daughter has a tooth in the back of her mouth all by itself. It is already difficult to brush her front ones but we manage. Any suggestions on how to keep that back one clean?
We sing a silly song while we brush her teeth and she loves it. So she opens her mouth big and wide so we can get every tooth. Maybe try something like that.
I use one of the little gum brushes to get all of DS's tooth surfaces, then I let him play with the toothbrush. He won't let me reach far back with the toothbrush, but he tolerates my finger going in the back with the gum brush.
I let my DS hold the tooth brush and then either put my hand over his or hold the end of the brush so I can control the movement but he still feels like he's doing it. I also use a baby toothpaste that he loves so he thinks he's getting a treat.

Same. Everyone offered some good suggestions that we can both try.
