Silly Gender Tests :)

Hello Everyone!  I got bored so figured I would strike up a discussion   I dont have a gender scan until 4 more weeks.. finally lol and this is baby #3 for me so I dont know why im soo anxious but I am lol!  So I have been trying all the little gender tests there are out there.  (obviously for fun, have not purchased clothes yet)
I did a couple of the gender tests last time and they were definitely RIGHT!  I had a girl   So I was wondering what everyone else has tried

This time this is what I tried and these are my results:

Baking Soda: Fizzed somewhat but had a very thick layer of foam!  BOY result..
Bleach Test (hubby helped dont worry!)  Fizzed ALOT and then foam almost shot out of the cup. Again Boy Result
Draino Test (hubby also helped)  Fizzed and reacted and STUNK!  and the result was a dark BrownYellow color with blue foam i was told it was BOY result
Red Cabbage - Turned A dark maroon color with a pretty good hint of red in it.. which I asked a few people and they took it as a BOY result especially compared to my GIRL result 2 years ago (which was like midnight black purple!)
And last but not least I got to try GENDER MAKER ($20 amazon gift card!) My result turned Darkk Purple like not even a color on the chart the give you!  I emailed gender maker and they say that it indicates a boy result!

So from all of the gender tests I have done, it looks like I will be having a boy!  I find out April 17, it will be interesting to see if all of these were WRONG or if they were RIGHT.

Remember this was all just for fun and keeping my hubby kids and family members involved with this pregnancy they loved it!

I would love to hear everyone else's experiences!

Re: Silly Gender Tests :)

  • I did the baking soda test and it said girl as does the Chinese calendar.  I have my a/s on April 10th so not too much longer of a wait!

They are silly but I agree it's just fun while you are waiting!  :)

  • all the tests I have done say girl but only time will tell. I didn't do any tests last time with DS so I have nothing to compare it to.

  • I haven't done any of the tests yet but last time everything pointed to girl and I have 2 very beautiful girls. I want to do the baking soda test but I don't have any. Chinese chart says girl again this time. NT scan tech said Boy. So we will find out End of Apr/Early May.

  • lol so for some of you they didn't work a bit and for others they worked :) i guess thats because theres aways that 50/50 chance lol!  I really hope mine are right in all honesty because I have two daughters and I am Dying to have a boy lol :)  we will see in like 25 days

  • Did the baking soda test and it fizzed. It was right. Confirmed today that I am having a boy.

IWhen these things match the actual sex of the baby with the "results" it's 100% pure coincidence.   There is nothing in your pee that can tell you the sex of your baby.

That being said, I've only ever done the chinese calendar thing.  My sister did the needle on the string thing when I was hanging out on the sofa once trapped like a turtle flipped upside down during my last pregnancy.
