I got my period in 3rd grade and thought I was dying.....but wtf? And a c-section? Holy shit that is crazy! Yeah I'm curious about the 5 year old. My oldest daughter is 5. Omg. It's hard to wrap my mind around it.

Yeah...I was in 4th grade and was 9 when I got my period. I cannot even fathom having a baby that young. I didn't even have sex until I was 22! The worst part is that I'm sure the majority, if not all, of these early pregnancy cases are rape/abuse.

I've heard of the five-year-old story briefly, but this is beyond disturbing. Just, how? I don't even get it. And the girl who has a baby at five apparently had her period at like 8 months and breast development at four? WTF?

In my opinion they are all rape/abuse. NO minor that young can truly give consent. They have not yet reached the age of reasoning.

I've heard of both cases before, the five year old one being the first I had heard of it. I found it interesting (mind you at the time I read about it I was a teenager and found most things mostly fascinating, without questioning much), but revisiting the ultimate requirements to even GET pregnant... Certainly disturbs me now! I don't see how anyone could bring themselves to do such a thing to a baby... And now I feel sad and slightly sick. Less fascinated... More horrified.

It is disturbing. I'm sure these are all cases of abuse. They also happen to be medical anomalies (like getting a period at 8 months) and the result was pregnancy.

I did the same a few years ago. There's a list by country of the youngest mothers and the circumstances. It was unbelievable. A woman's life is hard enough, let alone giving birth as a child!

My sweet baby is 6 years old. Boy or not, I can't imagine him going through something like that. All his beautiful innocence and happiness. To him, girls are just someone else that may or may not want to play superheroes with him and he's just now getting to the age where he is going to start saying they are gross. I seriously cannot imagine him having any sexual encounter whatsoever. And I would be forced to kill whoever did it. That poor poor child.
