I just don't understand how someone would want to hurt an innocent child. I remember teens in high school getting caught spray painting old bridges or tipping over the community garbage cans in our downtown area. Assholish? Yes. But at least they weren't causing an injury to a baby. This is really bothering me.

It's horrifying. I am following this story to see if they catch the culprit(s).

That happened in my area about 10 yrs ago when I was pg with #1. Turns out it was a 22 y.o. woman that they suspected of mental problems (their words, not mine, I think she was a total sicko that needed to be put away). She planted like 200 nails and razor blades at a bunch of parks. They finally caught her. I till check the play equipment thanks to her. I hope and pray they get whoever did this quickly and throw them away for a long time.
