Amnio

in Pregnant after 35
So I had all of these extensive tests doen because of AMA and not sure if I have to still do the Amnio test. Anyone know?

    We did NT Scan then we did Materni21 bloodwork  All were ok.  We did not do amnio.  I did not want one and probably would not get one unless the Dr said it was necessary.

    We did nt scan it looked great, then did mat21 but it was inconclusive. We opted to not do the amnio because of the risk and this being our last pregnancy.

    first- you don't have to do anything... it is your choice when it comes to a medical procedure, particularly an invasive one like amnio.  I did not have one based on NT scan results and quad screen looking good... I still probably would have declined due to the inherent risks of amnio.  I wish you a wonderfully healthy pregnancy and baby!

    We only had the Materniti21 test and the QuadScreen blood draw and said no to the amnio because those other tests didn't show any elevated risks.

    Thanks yes we also did the NT scan and I did Verifi test (same as Materniti21) and no problems so great news I didnt want the amnio!! :)
