This is my first check in and IVF cycle!!! Right now I am on BCP. I went in for CD3 blood work on Friday and I am hoping to get a protocol today. I have saline sonogram scheduled for this Wednesday. They are trying to work around my vacation that is in the first week of May, so possible ER in the middle of April. FET sometime in May. Best of luck to all of us!!!

I'm Back from a canceled cycle in March!!! Lupron starts April 1st, and at this point it looks like we will be having an April 21st ER. I am hoping that my husband's SA looks better tomorrow, as he had the flu with a very high, prolonged fever that left him with almost nothing when he was tested in early March. We hope to have a good enough amount to freeze for back up as well.

QOTD: I'm a little bit of everything. I am ready to get this process done and over with. I have not been myself since we started down the IVF road in November, and thus far all we have done is wait. I have felt like my life is on hold for the passed few months, and I am either ready to be pregnant or ready to take care of myself for a little while. February and March I felt like if this didn't work the first time I would not know how to deal with it and how I would come out the other side ok. But My husband scheduled us a trip to Disney World in June and a trip to Bermuda in July, so we will either be there celebrating, or there taking some time to ourselves and a break from IVF, which has made it a little easier.

This is DE IVF #1 for me. Never cycled with OE. My December cycle got cancelled so hoping everything stays on track for this one.

Start Lupron today. My donor starts stims 4/12. Estimated transfer end of April.

QOTD: All of the above you mentioned I guess. I just want this cycle done. If not successful then I can finally try to move on with my life. Its been a long time of waiting just to do one cycle...3 years next month.

Yay, first check in!! It's really real now!

This is FET #1. I took my last BCP yesterday. My baseline is Wednesday and if all looks well, I'll start Estradiol that night. FET is scheduled for April 15th!

QOTD: I am so, so excited! I can't believe it's finally here. I'm a bit nervous about all my shots being IM. And if we're lucky enough to get a BFP I'll be completely panicked until we actually see a baby this time, because of our blighted ovum. One step at a time though I guess.

Good morning! I am on my last day of BCP today! BC makes me a bit crazy and apparently very hungry all the time, so I'm ready for this phase to be over with an move on.

I am excited but very nervous...I think mostly about the ER and how the embryos end up doing more so than if it ends in BFP. We're nearing the end of our options (for a while, at least), so it's scary to think about it all.

Just got back from the clinic - AFC is 17 and I start BCPs tonight for IVF #2! We're trying the antagonist protocol this time, so no Lupron for me. Last pill will be on April 12th and stims should start on the 16th. Here we go!!

QOTW: I am sooo excited to get started again! I'm so ready. I'm a little bit nervous about the new protocol, but mostly hopeful that this will be the change that we need

I don't feel scared now, but I'm sure once we get closer to ER/ET the fear of another BFN will start to hit. For now, I'm not going to worry about it.

Hi Fellow Bunnies.

I will be doing my first FET in April. I am currently on CD14 so my actual FET will be in the 2nd half of April. We are doing a natural FET so while I will have to go in for monitoring, no needles other than the trigger shot - yay!!

QOTD: I am really hopeful and of course anxious for this cycle. I am on the plane returning from a 10 day vacation (parents were going on vaca and DH has a crazy work/travel schedule so I decided to join them to get away from everything), so I am feeling good right now. I haven't been obsessing about every little thing and have barely logged on due to limited access. Hoping that being more relaxed will help!

Good Morning! Today is my last day of the birth control pill, I have an appointment on Wednesday and will hopefully get the go ahead to start my protocol on Friday. If all goes well we will have the retrieval the week of 4/7!!

This is my first time so I am feeling really anxious but it is all unknown to me and I am am nervous to get too excited in case it doesn't work (even though I think it will!)....I am excited to have all you ladies to talk to about it!!

First check in for first IVF cycle! Yesterday was my last day of BCP. I’ve been on Lupron for almost a week. Had my baseline u/s today and everything looks good! I start stimming on Friday with Gonal F and Menopur. My RE is being very aggressive with the dosage (due to my high FSH levels) so I hope everything goes smoothly.

QOTD: I've been more scared and setting my emotions up to handle failure more than excited, but I’m trying to get more excited. It was a stretch for DH and I to come up with the money for this cycle, so if it doesn't work I’m not sure what our next decision will be. I tried to get excited last week, but I received 3 “we’re expecting” phone calls which was too much to handle. Each surprise phone call from a friend put me in deep funk. It’s a new week so I’m trying to pull my mind into a better place!

Good Morning !!! Well holy crap I can't believe it's here already! This is IVF #1 for me last day of BCP March 30th going in on April 3rd.

QOTD: I am actually all over the map right now. There are days I'm so hopeful and then there are days were I think what if this doesn't work. I think the fact that it's our first actual opportunity to make this happen is all very exciting, we've been waiting for such a long time (8 YEARS). DH is so nervous I think more so than I am, but he's excited too. I guess the best way to describe it is I AM SO READY!

First check-in woot woot!! Let's do this!! FET #1 after one canceled IVF and one "freeze-all." I have one beautiful XY blastocyst frostie out of 6 retrieved. I am really super excited about the little guy and praying for him every night because he is defying all odds: poor egg quality, AMA, DOR, so I was shocked and over the moon for him!! Im on day 6 of BCP and seeing my RE in 3 days to get started!! Looking at a transfer beginning of week 3 this month!!

Hello Ladies, This is going to be a great month for us. This is my first ever transfer. I did egg retrieval in Feb but because of OHSS, we froze all and delayed transfer. Currently on estrogen and weening off lupron, with a tentative transfer for April 11th.

I am very nervous and excited. I have been waiting for the other shoe to drop so to speak. We havent been able to find out why we havent been able to get pregnant so I am worried that something will finally come up. But overall I am very excited. This has been such a long process and I am ready for the big day.

My fingers are crossed and my prayers for all of you are constant.

Hi everyone!!! I am well into my bcp prep. Last day will be 3/30 and baseline on 4/2 and retrieval around 4/16. This is IVF# 2 for me, however we are doing PGD this time and it may just end up being a banking cycle. Will not know that until the retrieval is done and we see what we get. I'm hoping it will be enough to only do one, but my gut tells me we will be doing more than one retrieval.

QOTD: I have a little bit of every emotion going on right now. The majority of the time though I realize how weird it may be to go all the way through the process and then after retrieval have to do it again to get more eggs for testing. Only time will tell

Hello all! Back from a cancelled cycle around the holidays. Today I had my baseline. They found a cyst. I'll have bloodwork again Thursday to determine if I start injections Friday or in two weeks. I've learned to never get my hopes up, something is always changing. Best wishes to all of us!

Hello Lovelies!

IVF # 2 here after a failed IVF in November - at that time had a perfect blast that just didn't implant (and I had an E2 of 6000+). Doing a different protocol (no lupron) to deal with the E2 issues and had an endometrial scrape this morning to deal with the implantation issue. Starting stims on Friday 3/28 with an anticipated ER the week of 4/7.

QOTD: How are you feeling about starting a new cycle? Excited? Nervous? Hopeful? All of the above?
I was in a not good place emotionally about this cycle a few weeks ago, but at the moment I am VERY upbeat and hopeful and am trying to roll with it.

Hi Bunnies

We are doing FET #1. Out of three IVF cycles, we have one blastocyst. Literally placing our only egg in one basket. It's nerve wracking to say the least. I had my first lining check this morning, and it didn't go so well. The ultrasound showed that there was fluid in my lining. We don't want to transfer our one and only embryo unless my uterus is absolutely perfect. My nurse thinks it's too early to cancel, so we're going to stay the course and see how things look at my next lining check on Friday.

QOTD: How do I feel about starting this cycle? It depends on the day. I've had a lump in my throat all day, and every little thing sets me off into tears. I'm so mad at my body. I hate this all so much.

Hi bunnies! I'm gearing up for IVF #2, still on the dreaded BCP until 4/1 and starting a Microflare protocol soon after. Looking forward to getting to know my fellow snuggle bunnies.

QOTD: With a failed cycle under my belt I'm not as blindly optimistic (or as scared) as I was last time. I'm hopeful though that this is it for us and looking forward to seeing better results with a new protocol.

Hi, Bunnies! That second pic is cracking me up!!

Well, I guess this first check in makes this really real again! This is IVF/ICSI #2 for us and I am on day 3 of stims. ER will be next week sometime. I'll know after my appointment on Saturday. It'll be either the 1st or 2nd of April, most likely. My E2 is rising really well and was at 145 today after 2 days of stims. The nurse said this was great, so I'll just believe her

QOTD: At first, I wasn't excited at all. I thought it was a huge waste of money to be doing this again. But, when we found something wrong with DH (DNA frag) it gave me hope again. I do go back and forth with my emotions (when I'm not eating like a cow. These meds have me STARVING this time!) but I'm definitely hopeful much more than I am anything else.

Hi Ladies! I finished BCP on Friday and have baseline tomorrow for IVF #2. If all is quiet, I'll start stims + HGH on Thursday.

QOTD: I'm still really pessimistic about my egg quality and our chances this time around. I've even started preliminary research on donor eggs. Ugh, just need to try to get to a better place until we see the outcome of this cycle.

Hi bunnies!!

I'm so excited to get started again! This will be my first FET transfer with IVF #2 so does that make this FET 2.1? I remember seeing that somewhere- or should we just say FET #3? Whatever you decide is fine! Lol!

I went in for baseline on Saturday and started estrace that night! I go back for monitoring on Wednesday. Not sure exactly of my ET date but I think it will be around the 4-5th! My history is in my signature but after 2 early miscarriages under our belt, we decided to do PGD with IVF #2 and we have 7 genetically normal blastocysts!! So this FET we will be putting 2 of our best quality "normal" embryos in. They are rated 6ba which my nurse told me is a 9 on a scale of 1-10. Such a different feeling going into this cycle knowing that! Were hoping this will make all the difference for us since were getting pregnant but can't seem to keep the pregnancy. I guess time will tell! So as far as the QOTD, I am more hopeful and excited this time around bc of the PGD but also scared and nervous that if it doesn't work out with the PGD that we may never have any answers!

UPDATE: Oh Joy, AF just arrived! Just called and left a message with the RE's office to see when I need to come in and start my bcp's. Exciting stuff!!!

I'm still waiting for AF to show, then will start my BCP prep and get my schedule. Should still be on target for an April ER & ET. Getting excited!!!

This is our first ever IVF, we're doing a Double Embryo FET with RMA of NJ's NexGen Study after 3 previous failed IUI's and 2 years TTC

I took BCP 2/17-2/25

Started Stims 3/1- 3/10

ER on 3/12 (19 Eggs!)

Out of the 19 eggs, 13 fertilized and we have 8 frozen Embryos waiting patiently for us

AF showed yesterday, so I go into RMA tomorrow morning for blood work and U/S then I'm assuming they will start me on Estrace suppositories and go from there. With everyone's basic timeline for FET that I've been reading I'm thinking our ET will be around 4/14! Hoping for a real Easter Bunny this year!!! FX for all of you

I'm feeling Hopeful, excited and Happy. I think that whatever energy you put into the universe you will receive back and I've been very pessimistic before in previous cycles and it's gotten me nowhere. I think that this IVF Study at RMA is a real blessing for us because it would have been OOP 100%, so I plan on staying relaxed and happy and hoping for our first BFP!

Wow. I can't believe its time to check in already. I'm currently on my second weeks of bcps with baseline scheduled April 9th and start stims the 11. I'm excited but at the same time so scared. I have had so much heartbreak last year and hoping 2014 is much better for all of us! I haven't ordered my meds but I'm a sicko and actually get super excited to see all those needles. Hehe. I am trying to keep a positive outlook this cycle and keep the past in the past.

@Irishlove16, I don't know how to answer your question (bolded). I had assumed that I was doing FET #1 because this is the first time I've ever done a FET. We've done three IVF cycles (#1 = BFN, transferred our only two embryos on day 3, #2 = canceled after ER, #3 = freeze-all... well, freeze one, haha!). But based on your thinking, this would actually be FET #3.1 for me. Hmmm... which one is it?!

@rlk2, I am a sicko just like you then - I also get a thrill out of seeing all the needles, LOL! I am actually looking forward to doing IM shots this cycle. I just want to see what all the fuss is about, and I have a slight fascination with pain.

I'm a little late to the party, but I'd love to be included! We're currently prepping for our first FET. I'm not feeling good about it. I feel like I should be excited or nervous, but all I feel is that I want to get it over with. Not that I think it will be BFN, in fact I'm definitely hopeful that it will be P. But I just can't get excited about it for some reason. Maybe that will change as we get closer.
