DS barely eats at daycare. We give him breakfast in the morning and they get an a.m. snack, lunch and a p.m. snack at daycare. On Friday his teacher requested that I start bringing him supplemental food. He eats fine at home and I do not want to start giving him only preferred foods, so I declined to send supplemental food and instead sent a PediaSure shake for them to give along with afternoon snack so that, if he doesn't eat his lunch, he will still get something in his stomach. I really don't even like doing that. I thought I was going to get at least one kid who will not be a "problem eater". I don't know why he won't eat and she doesn't seem to know either. Maybe he's too distracted? I don't know. Any ideas?
Re: Eating at daycare
They sit at a little table and chairs. He sits at our dining table in a booster seat at home because if he sits at the little table, he wanders off. I'll have to ask if they make him stay seated or if he tries to get up and wander around. That's a good thought.
