DD is obsessed.

Why oh why don't they have any Sheriff Callie toys yet?

Anyone else's LO into this show?  I find it slightly more tolerable than MMCH.  I like the talking cactus.

    Oh yes, the cactus is adorable.  MY kids are watching it now.  They love the show and DD uses her little apron string and pretend it is her lasso.  

    Unless they think a show will be a huge success ( Princess Sofia), Disney won't usually distribute toys for one of their Disney Junior Cartoons until they see how the ratings are first.  If Sheriff Callie is successful then there will be toys for it.  

    However, I have actually thought of asking a friend that crochets if she can crochet us a stuffed Toby.

    Now that you mention Sofia-- I do remember trying to find a Sofia doll when the show first came out and wasn't able to. 

    DD's just luke warm on Sofia, so I guess that worked out in my favor, but she doen not seem to be getting tired of this show!

    I generally dont like any children's programming, but this one is OK for me.

    I saw that online when I was looking for Callie dolls!  Very interesting!

    My DD is obsessed with it as well.  She has a stick unicorn that someone gave her for her birthday last year.  She never touched it until she saw Sheriff Callie.  Now she can't be separated from her "horse".  I like the show, I think it's cute.

    My kid watches it if it is on. I try to ignore it for the most part. The singing squirrels or chipmunks drive me crazy though.

    DS has started saying yee haw and it's damn adorable, so I can't hate on Sheriff Callie too much. But those singing creatures make me want to stick forks in my ears.

    Anything is better than Max and Ruby at this point. All weekend with no cable/ internet means watching DVDs. The same ones over and over.

    Mine does like Sheriff Callie though.

    I gotta say, I think the only Disney Jr show that doesnt annoy me is the Octonauts... I think that show is adorable..and who doesnt love learning about sea creatures ?!?

    I hate Sofia too. She friggin has to win everything all the time. She's already a princess! Let the poor boy with the lame dog win the pet contest! (Spoilers).

    I had no idea that was Mandy Moore! I expected more from her post-Tangled. Way to lower expectations, Mandy.

    I find the show annoying, but my child likes it. So I can't hate on it too much.

    Sheriff Callie is the worst...I'm so glad you are teaching the important lessons that you can pretend to get sick and get all the attention and the worst thing that's going to happen is someone gets your dance moves wrong, or that the best way to punish someone for stealing is to catch them in the act by setting them up...fucking narcs, OR that "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is"...really? REALLY? where are you sending your kids that they will be forced to face this conundrum. oy
