What does everyone's feeding schedule look like?
The paper from the ped made me stress about doing it all wrong! It said he needs two servings of iron fortified cereal plus servings of fruits and veggies each day. I know you have to work up to it introducing one new food every 4 days but at this point I'm so confused about how to work up to that!

Is tonight really busy? Have lots of errands to run? Skip solids.
Is tomorrow more relaxed? Feed solids 3 times if you want.
FWIW, we BLW. At this point, S. asks for solids pretty much every time we eat. He fusses until he is in his high chair with food too. So he gets offered solids pretty much 3x a day. (I am a SAHM.) For breakfast he gets toast or apple slices.
Lunch is usually a fruit with cheese sometimes. Dinner is whatever we are having.
I wish our society didn't make people stress over this.
S. is 6.5 months (he's as early Sept. baby) and has no teeth. Babies can enjoy eating many foods even without teeth. As we don't have history of food allergies or sensitivities in our families, the only food we avoid is honey. He's even had PB.
I am not kidding when I say I give him food from my plate. I just make sure it's in an appropriate size. If it's too small for him to handle (doesn't have a lot of finger dexterity) I use a mesh feeder.
Really, at this point we are introducing our kiddos to different sizes and textures and tastes. It's not about them getting nutrition from the solids. That needs to come from BM or formula.
