I have finally been able to ditch the nipple shield I started using shortly after LOs birth (8weeks ago!) due to inverted nipples. Yeah! So happy to be rid of it! Because of the shield I was pumping a few times a day to keep my supply up but was down to pumping only 3 times a day. I went down to 2 for a couple days and just pumped once yesterday. So my question is do I need to keep weaning down my pumping if I'm not using the shield? I'm worried about messing with my supply which was a little on the low side a month or so ago(prior to doing the pumping) and is still not super high.
Any thoughts, suggestions or experience with this?
