Jungle Food Names

Need some creative minds! My mom and sister in law are planning a jungle themed baby shower for me and were all kind of stuck coming up with cute names for the food! Its a jungle theme shower and we need names for cheezy potatoes, fruit salad, cupcakes, runts, the little chocolate balls that are pink (sixlets) and pasta salad!

We are calling the sloppy joes "lion grub" and the potato chips either "Canopy chips" or Congo Chips and the oreo calls "mud balls"

    A friend of mine recently had a jungle shower thrown for her. I live out of town so I didn't go, but someone posted a picture of the food cards. Sorry I don't know all of the foods they went with.
    nile river water (punch)
    rainforest skewers (mozzarella, tomato, etc. on a skewer)
    twigs (pretzel sticks)
    baboon bites
    hungry hippo dip
    antennae
    safari sandwiches (sandwiches)
    watering hole (drink station)
    cheetah cheese & crackers (cheese & crackers)
    jungle boulders
    snake eyes (grapes)
    canopy candy bar
    tropical salad (fruit salad)
    vines
    monkey tails
    dried ants
    ostrich eggs


    DX PCOS June 2011, SA: low volume and concentration, 2% morph
    June 2011 Clomid 50 mg + metformin 500 mg = BFN
    August 2011 Clomid 100mg + metformin 500 mg = BFN
    October 2011 Clomid 100mg + metformin 500 mg = no response
    January 2012- Clomid 150mg + metforming 750 mg ER + trigger + IUI #1 = Cancelled due to poor response. 
    February 2012 - cancelled due to finaances
    April 2012 - Jumped ship to a new RE 
    May 2012 - New round of testing
    June 2012 - starting supplements, saving for IVF
    June 2013 - ready to start IVF, one more SA - all clear! Dr. Suggest starting with 50mg Clomid and Ovidrel instead. Have to resolve thryoid issues first. 
    August 2013 - 50 mg. Clomid + Ovidrel = BFN
    September 2013 - 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel = BFP on Oct. 7th!
    10.8.13 = 1st Beta 199
    10.10.13 = 2nd Beta 502
    10.14.13 = 3rd Beta 3,998
    11.4.13 = 1 little bean measuring right on track with a heartbeat of 174!
    12.2.13 = Genetic testing normal, It's a BOY!
    6.10.14 Our sweet baby boy is born at 1:43 pm - 8lbs, 8oz, 21" long

    Yeah, as an adult I like to know exactly what it is I'm eating.  I know that most of your foods should be pretty obvious without having to tell people, but I would probably not eat an Oreo Ball if it was called a "mud ball."  But if you called it an Oreo Ball I would because I love Oreos.  And "Lion Grub" for sloppy joes?  No thank you.  

    FWIW, my MIL and SIL threw me a jungle-themed shower and none of the food was jungle-themed or jungle-named.  It was, however, delicious, and everyone loved it.

    That is such a cute idea! I love the idea of naming the foods. I can't think of any names but I like what the PP put. The list of names. Very cute idea!

    I have a lot of friends with dietary restrictions, so I have an index card with an ingredients list.  I think jungle themed is cute, but pregnancy brain has drained my creativity :(
