How long did it take to get your period after completely weaning?

I know there are several threads about the first PP period, but they seem to apply to those who are still nursing. If your period didn't come back until after you weaned, how long did it take to get it back? My son has been completely weaned since the second week of January. So it's been a long time for me, and still no sign of a period. Is that normal? I know everyone's body is different, but I'm just wondering at what point do I consult a doctor? HPTs have been negative...so I don't really know what's going on.

    when women get their first PP period can vary a lot. i think it's perfectly normal that it might take a few months for your hormones to regulate and for your cycles to restart. if you're still worried, maybe give your doctor a call?
