Ok I need some help! My babies are 15 weeks and they refuse to lay flat on their back. I've also let them get used to sleeping in the mammaroo or the swing so they kind of like the movement. I have tried the crib over and over and everytime they lose their crap within 10 mins. I will go in and put pacifiers back in and they will quiet for another 10 mins and then it all starts again. I really want to get them in their cribs consistently. I never had this issue with my ds. Have completely messed them up by letting them sleep in the swing ? Any advice or tricks would be appreciated!

Re: Getting babies in the crib?

We tried transitioning my boys to cribs a few times before it stuck. They slept and napped in RNPs until 8mo or so. Starting at around 6mo, I'd try it for a nap or two or for night until their first wake up.
It didn't really ever take until they were just about 8mo. And it was easy bc they were ready and I didn't force anything.
Babies change so quickly that what works one month won't work the next. Their preferences change as they learn new skill, get older, change habits. They'll eventually sleep in their cribs.
We inclined their mattresses with a blanket underneath and they both sleep in Magic Sleepsuits. They now sleep in their cribs from 10:30pm - 5:30-6am.
