PSA Target Baby Sale (esp. cheap baby monitors)

Just scored a deal on a baby monitor at target, and plan on going back for more (diapers for sure, maybe some other baby gear too).

I got a Motorola video monitor for $119.99, originally $179.99, by using a $20 off $100 baby purchase coupon, plus you get a $40 gift card with purchase.

Planning on going back later in the week to stock up on diapers, so I'll use another coupon then, plus my gift card.

I got the $20 coupon out of the Sunday paper, but you can get it by texting as well.

Typing this really quick, so I'm sorry if this isn't super explanatory.  Hope it helps someone else out!!

  • Is it $100 for a single item, or total baby purchase?

  • Total baby purchase, it excludes the toy department and clothing.

The coupon doesn't say anything about a $40 gift card? Is that only for the monitor?

Unrelated, but you all also need to download Target's Cartwheel app for additional deals.

I have the cartwheel app. I can't find any info about the addition gift card?

The gift card is for purchasing the monitor only. If you buy that model, get the $40 coupon back in the store.

Also, 10% up and up baby products on cartwheel.
And $5 gift card back when you buy two boxes of the $17 up&up diapers. There are gift card offers on several other baby products too.

  • Thanks for posting this! I just bought the monitor and also used the 20% off all Chicco to get the travel system for $66 off! I am so thankful for Target because they're one of the few companies that actually offer free shipping to Hawaii.

Can someone explain to me how to use the coupon online? I can't find a promo code or anything when I look at the link in the texts. (I tried BABYSAVE and BABYEVENT, one is $20 off, the other is $20 gift card). I'd appreciate any help! :)

ETA: do you actually just use BABYSAVE or BABYEVENT as the promo code? Am I an idiot?

  • Can this be used online?

  • The $40 gift card was specifically for the baby monitor I bought.  There are other baby monitors that offer gift cards with purchase (anywhere from $10-$50 depending on the monitor).  This is the one I purchased:

The coupon for $20 off $100 (total baby purchase) was in-store only.  I did some googling and I don't think there is a way to use it online.

  • @mississippicatfish, on this drop down menu at the top, go to More -> Coupons -> Baby. You can click the coupons (I think it says "click to print" but it will just apply the coupons to your online cart.

@taylorjeanne24, I just used it online!

  • @alohababy14  I am impressed, I tried for 30 minutes and finally gave up and went to the store.  I could only get the $40 gift card on the baby monitor, not the $20 off $100.

Hope it works for the rest of you guys!!

I did the text and it's for a $20 target gift card with a $100 purchase, not $20 off a $100 purchase. Did I do something wrong? Also, how do you use it online?

@TRS48 The coupon I used in the Sunday paper Target ad was for $20 off, not $20 gift card.  I also couldn't get it to work online, so I can't help you there.

As for the texting, this site has the instructions and indicates that it's $20 off, not a gift card.  Is this what you did??

ETA: It won't let me link the site for some reason....

$20 off a $100 baby purchase when you text BABYSALE to 827438

  • @alohababy14 Thank you! I'm about to get on my laptop to try it!

@TRS48 I believe BABYSAVE is $20 off and BABYEVENT is the $20 gift card - hope that helps!

    Need Target coupon clarification ---

Can you stack a mobile coupon with a printed coupon from their website?

ETA: And my question relates to if they are the same coupon? So let's just say I have a mobile web coupon for 1.50 off diapers and then a target.com coupon for 1.50 off diapers. Are you able to use both?

Thank you a much ladies! I texted baby sale to TARGET today and it gave me a promo code for 10% off (not sure what happened to the $20 off but the 10% off saved me more anyway) and I got two car seats for a little over $100 off by combining the sale price & my coupon. I've been waiting for a deal like this to order our car seats! Thank you soooo much!

Target website states yes they do that but I also think it depends on your individual store.
  • Interesting.............................

    Thanks!

the coupon from the paper is $20 off of $100. It a gift card. The mobile one must be different.

The coupon from the paper is $20 off of $100. It's NOT a gift card. The mobile one must be different. You can combine manufacturer coupons with target coupons.
I am hoping to go twice. Once for a video monitor and again for diapers.

    Sorry. Typing fail on mobile.

  • Waaaaa I can't figure out how to use this online!
  • Also - I was just informed you can print two of the $1.5 coupons off of Target.com -- so go ahead and save yourself the extra $1.5 if you can.

And...if you have someone generous enough to print you another, you can use three in the transaction since I think its 1.5 off two packages of diapers for each coupon.

  • @tourqeyes  Thank you!!  I was trying to figure out how to maximize the savings on diapers when I went back to get them this week....this saved me a headache!

Also, didn't know that you could use the mobile $20 gift card coupon on top of the $20 off $100 coupon....so I'm going to either make them honor it, or return and rebuy the baby monitor I bought!

    Awesome deals, thanks!!
