Afraid?

DS is pretty sociable - he takes some time to warm up to ppl, but after that, he's good. Recently, however, anytime my dad comes near him, he screams - like, someone's killing me, uncontrollable crying. This has been going on for about 2 months. I thought maybe it was a phase that he would grow out of, but now idk. My dad is a really loving person, but has a loud voice and can easily overstimulate DS because he plays a bit louder/ more aggressively than we do. Other than that, I don't know why DS freaks. An my poor dad wants to visit and see him, but feels awful.
Any tips? Anyone else have a similar situation?

    My LO does the same thing but with anyone they isn't me or daddy. It's getting better but she does the scream like someone hurting her too
    We try to take her to people's houses a lot like grandmas etc. Hoping it stops soon.. Been going on over a month

    My LO was like that today with DH's dad and step mom. We tried smiling at her when they were holding her, but she was just not having it. I ended up handing Ellie over to my FIL and then left the room. I made sure she didn't see me leave or come back in and then she was fine with him. Once she saw me again, the screaming commenced. 

    We have a ton of nieces and nephews, I'll have to see what she does when she sees him with them.

    My niece was that way with my dad. She grew out of it, but I don't remember how long it took.

    I had my fil practice holding her and not talking. It helped alot. Now she is fine with him haha

    My niece was that way with my SIL's dad. And DS is that way with everyone including my dad. Tonight BIL stopped by to pick up some things and every time he even looked at DS he would scream and pout and cry. He tried to hold him for a minute and DS wasn't having that. After a while he seems to be ok but at first he hates people.
