Is that a blood clot in your uterus? Sorry... not sure of the terminology.
If so, I had a friend who had a really big one. She was considered extremely high risk and had U/S's every week for most of her pregnancy. I think they only gave her like a 10% or 25% chance of not miscarrying at first. Long story short, she carried to term and has a beautiful, perfectly healthy little boy.
Don't argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level then beat you with experience. - Mrs. G
I think a lot of times people's get reabsorbed or they end up pooping and they bleed it out. When I posted about mine that is what I heard most often. One person posted and said she miscarried, but her's formed because her placenta had begun to pull away and wasn't just randomly hanging out in her uterus.
What did your doctor say about it?

I had a small one at 5 weeks but it had reabsorbed. I had some light bleeding for a few days and one small clot about the size of my thumb nail. I was really scared and went to the doctors but everything is ok.
I had one when I was pregnant with DD. It was 4 cm in diameter. I bled a lot (which was VERY scary, especially since I had 2 m/c before getting pregnant with DD) and was on pelvic rest for 12 weeks. I got ultrasounds every week, then every other week until it resolved itself. GL!
I am 8 weeks today and they just told me not to have sex. They did an ultrasound on Friday 7 weeks and 5 days and they said baby was the size it should be and heart beat was 128 strong.
I am also on PROMETRIUM 200mg 2 X's a day
I had a MC last Sept so I am very concerned.
I have a follow up next Friday to check the progesterone and the blood inside.
I've had a series of blood clots since I was about 5.5 weeks - I found out when I started having flushes of blood soak through my undies/pants while at work. I'm still dealing with it now and have been on bed rest. I believe the no sex thing is an attempt to not irritate the cervix or anything else up there. Honestly, I had an orgasm before I was told to stop having sex and the bleeding was actually worse for about 2-3 days afterward. That is what Dr's are trying to prevent. My Dr didnt do transvaginal ultrasounds or anything else in an attempt not to irritate the area.
Ask your Dr what your risk is . . . at 6 weeks pregnanct, my OB told me she thought I was going to miscarry with that amount of bleeding. At least I knew what I was dealing with. Luckily she was wrong and I'm still hanging in there and seeing a high risk Dr now.
SCH is very common, especially among IF patients as you can see.
If you have SCH, your doctor should have given you restrictions. Pelvic rest means so sex, probably until 12 weeks. No lifting above 10 pounds. I did two days of bedrest for every red bleed (RE orders). Mine was gone by 10 weeks with bleeding at weeks 6 and 8 and lots of brown spotting.
I would call your doctor and ask for restrictions if they didn't tell you any.
I know exactly what you're going thru. I will be 11weeks on friday. At exactly 9weeks, I woke up to moderate bleeding. Went in that day for ultrasound and was told I had a SCH. Baby was perfectly fine though. I was put on rest for a week. I was told that I could possibly expect to bleed more or it could turn into the old brownish looking blood. They also said my body could possibly absorb it as well. I go in the morning for a follow-up ultrasound. Hopefully it has shrunk! All you can do is hope for the best honestly. Good luck to you!
Thanks to all of you the Dr said I have a subchorionic separation if that is any different. Also that it is small so they are hoping that it will just disolve I have my next appointment on Friday and they will check my progesterone levels crossing fingers that they have gotten better. They will check the blood thing also.
Thanks to all of you for your reply I truly appreciate it.
I know these are old threads but just looking for hope. Had just a few drops of red blood when wiping Saturday morning so i went to ER bc i havent had my 1st appt yet. Im 36 yrs old ,3kids,1 misscarriage about 13 mos ago dont know cause but was very very early. So they diagnosed me with a "small" bleed could see the sac n yolk sac said i looked to be less than 6 weeks n this could go either way. Im very sad and scared and must go to my dr tomorrow and hope hcg is still rising. It was 10,663. Told pelvic rest 3 weeks n go to my dr n return to ER with any heavy bleeding. Ive been home 2 days and no morebleeding happened no cramps no backache. Just praying itll be ok.
Had one diagnosed around 7 weeks. I'm now 9w6d and am still having brown spotting and at times red blood. My OB has told me no sex, no high impact exercise and to take it easy. I have been but have still had various heavier bleeds. The SCH has shown up on 3 u/s and I'm thinking its still there due to me still having some bleeding. All you can do is obey the drs orders, take it easy and remain positive. Good luck-fingers crossed for yours to resolve quickly.
I had one they found at week 6 and was put on pelvic rest. At my 10 week ultrasound it was gone. I spotted for the next week and then everything has been great so far since then!

I have not bled at all yet besides a little tiny clot of tissue a few weeks ago.
The only restriction they gave me was no sex but I am doing what others have been told as well which was to rest and no lifting.
I am also taking this prometrium which makes me feel horrible.
Thanks to all of you for your reply
