I saw this pop up on my Facebook feed today and it reminded me how completely horrified I was to discover that my darling husband was a ketchup anarchist. He gets an order of fries or hash browns and he slimed the entire plate with ketchup as though he's creating abstract art. So, tell me, how do you do ketchup?

Ranch on all the foods! Or most of them anyway.

I don't do ketchup. Once in high school, a friend dared me to eat a rice krispy treat with ketchup on it. It was the worst thing ever. I got sick, and I haven't like ketchup since. I used to not even be able to look at it. During this pregnancy though I had it a couple of times.

I voted ss because cheese is the superior condiment. You can keep your ketchup/mayo/ranch nonsense. All cheese, all the time for this chick.

I prefer ranch for my fries but if I have ketchup I put it in a nice mound on the side of my plate... No touching the food til I'm ready!

@Lee81‌ Totes forgot about cheese fries! I could eat cheese fries everyday. Especially White Castle cheese fries. Jeez, that could also be my other UO!

I looooooooove mayo. But only if it's readily available. I won't ask for it, because I'm ashamed of my fatty mayo loving butt, but I will ask for ketchup...sometimes. I don't always use ketchup. But if I do, it's in a ketchup puddle. Spreading it all over the place would stress me out about dirty hands!

On the side ketchup or ranch depends on what I have a taste for. My husband on the other hand ketchup on all things. All meats, chips, fries, hash browns the other day he put it on mashed potatoes. I had to stop eating.

@Heather91011‌ My husband is like that, only it's #bbqsauceonallthethings. His answer to everything I cook is, "Don't worry, babe, if it tastes funny, I'll put BBQ sauce on it." This includes macaroni and cheese, risotto...you name it -- I've burned it at least once and DH has eaten it with BBQ on top.

I love honey mustard on everything but whatever my condiment of choice is, its always a neat little puddle on the side. Eta: Buffalo sauce, omg, yummmmmm! on. Every. Thing.

Not only am I strictly ketchup on the side but Im also syrup on the side. I hate when DH puts syrup on my pancakes of waffles.

Blech. I do not like ketchup. Or mustard. Mayo is okay when used in things like chicken salad. I also don't care Ranch ::gasp:: though I don't find just a little on a sandwich to add flavor.

And, @Weljadraak, I was waiting for someone to spell it "catsup" vs. "ketchup." Do you know the difference, or why some is spelled one way and some is spelled the other? I may have to google...

Mayo weirdo here as well. Any condiment I use is neatly on the side. If I can't get mayo then I use ranch or blue cheese dip. Ketchup is only used on burgers or hotdogs and that is in addition to heaps of mayo. And now I need to go find a snack.

I'm a ranch girl. Or ketchup on the side, far away from the fries. I don't do ketchup, mayo, mustard on burgers or hot dogs unless I'm in a mood.

I DO like mixing mayo and ketchup. That is pretty ingenious.

Ketchup goes in a nice little pile, when I use it. I like my fries naked most of the time. The only time I'd ever smother my fries in ketchup was when I was in HS and my friend who hated ketchup would always steal my fries.

Ketchup on hash browns is almost as bad as ketchup on scrambled eggs.

Ranch is over-played. I like it on salad. Occasionally on pepperoni pizza and onion rings.

McDonalds, I love the Sweet and Sour sauce for my fries. Super yum! CFA, I like the CFA Sauce. It tastes like BBQ sauce, honey mustard, and mayo all mixed together.

Mayo weirdo here too! It's so deliciously bad for you. I thank my time in Germany in college for this nasty habit.

But if I can't have mayo, I'd like poutine. Yum. Again not much in the healthy category but French fries smothered in gravy with cheese. Thank you neighbors to the north for this delicious and totally unhealthy treat.

I'm pretty sure that if I lived in Canada, I would eat poutine every. single. day. I love gravy and I love cheese. I would seriously eat gravy on everything.
