  I have a fb friend with a baby born October 31, 2013. She claims she is pulling herself to standing already. She is also the most competitive person I have ever met but has been caught embellishing her accomplishments before. Coincidence?

  Yeah this chick had major pregnancy moments (movement, cravings, etc) always a couple months before me. Quick to pull the trigger I guess. I would think she knows better bc this is her second child. :-??

  LO makes tons of sounds that DH and I turn into full sentences...which is way fun by the way!
  We have full conversations with him!

  I actually do have a friend whose baby was pulling up to stand at 6 months and is cruising now at 7.5 months. Pretty crazy. She seems to be advanced in motor skills but slower socially.
  
  ETA- I guess this baby of you FB friend is only 5 months though.

  My sister said stuff like this.  He/She may make a sound that sounds like a certain word to us.  He has no word association though.  Its just sounds.  But... if she's proud of it then whatever!

  It was me. I posted one or both of these photos. She still needs to hold onto something for balance but does it all the time. The picture with DH's legs is from the first time she pulled herself up, she just was sitting on the floor with the dog and when he got up, she got up.

  Babies can't associate words to things unlike like 10+ months.

  Matilda drives me to and from the bar. Couple of blocks on the pedals of the pick up and she's fine.
