One night, baby cries for hours on end. Another night, she graces us with two four - hour blocks of unbroken sleep (hallelujah!), last night, she wants to nurse from 10:15pm to 2:00am essentially non-stop. I had to wake DH up to hold her and let her fuss for a few minutes so I could go pee.

Newborns are crazy people! :P

Yep, I have learned to enjoy a good night...because it typically means she is resting up for some fun the next night!

She's only 5 days old, but so far Lydia likes try and get her long stretches during the day and be up all night. We've been waking her up to eat more frequently during the day, but she's still up every 1-2.5 hours at night. At least I've been able to get some good naps in during the day.

Last night was the first night in almost two weeks that Dominic gave me two glorious 3-hour stretches of sleep before waking up a hungry lunatic at 4:30am. The past like 10 days he's been waking up almost every hour at night. He's a mad man!
