LOs Bday party & sick UPDATE

My son seems like he is falling ill. He has a mild fever and the sniffles. We rented a play space/cafe for all of his friends to the tune of $200 for two hours. 32 people (adults and kids) are coming. I'm not sure what the proper thing is to do here. I know he could be fine tmrw but knowing my son he won't be. What if he is quite sick? Do we call everyone and cancel? Do we let everyone else use the space and fave fun? Do we bring our son and just hold him (as that's all he wants to do when sick) so he doesn't contact the others? It's a informal party: no planned games, no munchies, just cake, cafe provides free beverages, no gifts was requested on the invites, etc.

    Ugh I'm sorry mama, I would cancel.  Can you reschedule? Sometimes those play places let you do that within XX amount of weeks.   If he's with fever and lethargic, I would assume he won't even be up to it.  And I'd feel crappy if that were my kiddo and we gave it to a kid or a few and they became sick this week.

    He is sleeping now. I am going to see how he is in the morning. Maybe by some miracle he will be okay. If not, I will cancel :( I just finished making the most epic birthday cake ever too!

    Hope your son came around and that you were able to have the party afterwards, or at least had cake to enjoy!
